Always fun to hear from a previous owner! The car sold quickly, and went to a good home I'm sure. It really takes a special buyer to purchase a Corvette of this vintage as I'm sure you know. Specialty insurance companies like Hagerty are there just for cars like this, and establish an agreed value before coverage starts in the event of a total loss. I would highly recommend collector car insurance for this car.
i used to own this car. It was great to drive but it mostly just sat and collected dust. I got tired of getting it out to wash the dust off every month or so. I got too scared to drive it because it would be a fight to the death to get the insurance company to reiumburse me fairly if it got damaged or wrecked so I hope the new owner is enjoying it more than I ever did.

@Rowdie999 Depends on your definition of perfect! Extremely nice examples of 1958-62s run anywhere from $80,000-$200,000.
