You know, I always come back to check this video out when I come on YouTube. I think it's marvellous. It's this part of Star Trek we so briefly see; the nitty-gritty, day-to-day world of personnel transfers, etc. While I would obviously love to see you finish your Wolf 359 videos (like everyone else, lol), and do other "action" type stuff, I think you do things like this amazingly well and better than anyone else! Thanks alot! :)
@Freddran Well, I was being slightly facetious. However, to nerd out: Miranda class width: 142, 144 or 174 meters (depending on source), Galaxy class width: 463-464m. The main shuttlebay door looks to be about 14.5% of the saucer section, so the door width is about 67 meters. However The main shuttlebay is bigger inside, according to blueprints, and if I then compare the size of the door to the interior, by ratios, it appears as though the main shuttlebay is 149m wide and 164m long.
Your pieces on YouTube are marvelous. For too long we have had only still images on the web. You are bringing these ships to life and are doing it in an elegant way. My sincerest thanks!
This is really well done...I think the music is perfect as well, especially given the time frame. Part of the charm of early TNG was the music, with all the random violins and synthesizers. ^_^ Where did you get this track?
@RotSman Thanks, I totally agree regarding the charm of early TNG music, The music is from the Encounter at Farpoint soundtrack. You might recognise the first part from when former lovers Riker and Troi meet on the bridge and the second is from the end of the episode.
Sleek! I just had to subscribe!

nice, but I don't like the light conditions and smoothness of a galaxy-class vessel

Nice warp effect! Is this the same Saratoga that was rendered powerless by a probe in Star Trek IV?

@tomcatm16 No this is NCC-31911, the 24th century ship on which Benjamin Sisko served as first officer, and which was destroyed at Wolf 359.

@tomcatm16 Same starship "Miranda class" 80 plus years later, and destroyed finaley at wolf 359

Gosh, even if it were the 26th century, I'd still want to captain the Galaxy class.

Love that Miranda-class variant. Tis a nice reworking of an already beautiful design.

What a size difference! I think the main shuttle bay on the Galaxy class must be about the size of a Miranda class vessel!
