  • this is the reason for prepping with out your neighbors knowing what they dont know you have they dont know to take. and lets keep mum at work too ok and a lot of your troubles are lessened

  • Just kill them the second they talk to the daughter.

  • That girl would have no front teeth left.........I'm just saying

  • You sir, are the definition of underprepared: your gun has no ammo, your wife has your balls, your friends have no honor, and your diseased bitch of a child has the lot of you on a leash.

    congratulations, you're going to die

  • wow! this was awesome!!!!!!

  • Having one gun sucks. If he was that much into prepping he would have had at least a shotgun to go with that revolver.

  • @shurnee and taught his wife and annoying brat how to use them

  • This movie is sick. Kevin <3

  • Saw 6 is awesome! So is this video!

  • great video, very well done

  • I would have pimped the daughter out or thrown her out of the window at the first sneeze - feckign brainwashed toad

  • heh, such a stereotypical selfish idiot child.

  • I forgot to mention, this vid was FUNNY and very well written. acting wasn't too bad either

  • awesome vid, good job. buy some bullet and move out of LA. get yourself a good rifle like an AK

  • @childofthesun314 dude your an idiot a ak is a horrible choice they jam up why dont you think american soldiers dont use them and lil kids from iraq do

  • @surferdude616 Actually the AK will fire no matter what happens to it, which is why you see "lil kids from iraq" using them. Do you think they know how to disassemble and clean a gun that is using corrosive rounds? The answer is probably no they don't, and that's what the AK was built for, and why it's been around since 1947. Please think before you speak.

  • thats easy still a car; generator etc

  • My worst nightmare is not the bird flu disaster but the family situation that guy had.

  • Is it just me or the light is on around 13:30. Where they not supposed to be out of power?

  • that was what he was going for and he achieved it so well he's directing the new saw movie (saw 6) it may be a new beginning with him at the helm

  • "don't worry baby, FEMA will be here soon"

    Bwaaaaaaaa! Don't count on it!

  • Heh he didn't have a single bullet for that big gun? What a shame...

  • What a pussy excuse for a husband "I wish you had let me buy bullets"....

I will always own thousands. No matter what.

  • LOL

  • LOL I guess we could do with a few more. My wife is generally pretty agreeable about stocking up on ammo. Just to be safe I'll show here this video LOL

  • "Don't worry baby, FEMA will be here soon." LOL Awesome!

  • Whoa, whoa, whoa.... that moron doesn't have any ammo? (7:20)

He should have gone with his old buddies and left the stupid bitches to their own devices. Seriously.

  • This was fantastic! Hoping to see more!

  • Great job man!

  • I would bitch slap that little bitch

  • Every time I watch this, I am so disgusted with that pathetic excuse for a man, the little princess, and the wife who worships the little princess. It is so sad that this is too many American families.

Good intentions, and half-ass planning don't get you shit.

  • This was fantastic, I love it.

  • Great short. The director put me in the Bug In Location and made it real with the gear, caution, sheeple, and whiny tit teen. You did a lot in less than 15 min! Very nice. Thanks for posting it.

  • "If you LET me buy bullets for this six months ago"

Their is lessons here for the metro sexual "men" who don't lead their families....

  • Wow that kid needs a beating.

  • LOL. Wow.

  • FEMA?

FEMA are the ones that are going to put Constitutionalists, patriots, in their camps.

  • They aren't going to round people up and put them in camps with force. People will go willingly when the grocery stores are empty and the lights are off. They will offer people the privilege of getting on trains and buses to be taken to where the food is without having to fire a shot or rough anybody up.

  • I hope any sequels that may come out will show the dangers in trusting in "FEMA". This is a great wake-up-call video. And just think: this isn't even the half or worst of it. Imagine HUNDREDS hanging around your home, banging on the door, begging for food, threatening your family.... Oh yes, and Blackwater goons running around everywhere with sniper rifles, "keeping an eye on things", such as gasoline/electical/food sources... Yeah. It's gonna be an adventure, alright. God bless us all.

  • Excellent film! Bratty spoiled kids will be the death of many a family. Monsters in children's bodies.

  • cool,NICE JOB!!!

  • I want a sequal!!!!!! xD

  • SUPERB!!

  • Damn teenagers eh? Always bloody whining.

  • This here will be the director of the next saw movie.

  • Sweet movie. Loved the part about "Honey if you only let me buy some bullets for this gun months ago!". LOLZ. So soon people forget.

  • lol @ STD's

  • Fantabulous! I don't think I've seen a better done online video. Ever. Production values & acting are topnotch.

Keep an eye on that Eric Shaun Williams!!

  • Awesome video. Please do more.

  • Fuck FEMA

  • Proper parenting will prevent bratty assed kids like that.

  • I don't know which is worse, the avian flu or being couped up with a bratty teenager! LOL!

  • excellent

  • Damn good video.

  • Great video..Posted it as a standard on my Forum for everyone to see..

  • one of the best short films on youtube by far

  • To Portsy101:

I imagine the purpose was that it was filled with water once the epidemic broke out. It's a good way to store a large amount of water.

  • You can't drink hot tub water. It's brominated.

  • To Portsy101:

I imagine the purpose was that it was filled with water once the epidemic broke out. It's a good way to store a large amount of water.

  • Whats next on the menu? Burst from an AK..Take care of em once and for all or scare em off..better to solve the problem strait away before they come back w/ friends, IMO..

  • Filmed in LA, good law abiding folks like ones in film probably would not have an AK.

  • Excellent, is there another episode? What happens NEXT....

  • Just wanted to add my support for the vid. Great job!!!! And yes, the daughter is uber annoying. But in real life situations like this, what family doesn't have an "annoying factor" to have to deal with. Fantastic. And know it. The Bird Flu cometh. It's a matter of time.

  • And just think this was the "prepaired" guy scenario. The lemmings dont seem to think S can happen and dont prepare. I just think of the time power got knocked out for about three days an people alredy were getting a little scetchy. Then imagine a real emergency type situation..... Like everything else its better to have a plan and "have it and not need it" then "need it and not have it". I wont be waiting for FEMA....

  • No ammo? Only one gun? NOT prepared.

  • Visit our online discussion forum and share your opinion about the video.

We're at Avian Flu Talk. com

  • zip tie and gag the daughter. Until it becomes obvious she is infected. the sedate and poison her, mercifully. the wife should have been assisting her husband in killing the bad guy while he drowned and contaminated the water supply. All in all a very good story line. start preparing now folks, it may not be this, but it will be something. Then we will see just how crazy ppl really are......

  • This is still the best homemade video on Youtube. I think the annoying daughter was just added for the satirical comic effect. I would love to see a full length version of this movie or something similar. I would be willing to pay for it. I'm surprised no one has made a decent bird flu movie yet. ABC television did an awful one a few years ago. Lets just hope the bad guys don't have an extension ladder.

  • I agree.

"Lets just hope the bad guys don't have an extension ladder."

That's what the 12 guage is for...

  • The teenage daughter need a slap up sided the head and a little dose of reality. Starting the generator to watch a DVD because the daughter is whinning like a spoiled brat is like putting out a neon sign that say's "this house has supplies, come get them", what idiots. They should have had more than one gun and lots & lots of ammo and gas stored so dad didn't have to risk his life going after it. Mom should have had a weapon as well as the kid, a knife, pepper spray, something.

  • It depends how u look at it. If they had ammo in that gun, the dad would've been dead when the bad guy got his hands on it. I do think it was stupid to leave the gun by the window. It should be with you all the time in a SHTF scenario.

  • If there was enough power in the battery to electrocute the burned guy twice, would that be enough power to play the girl's movie without needing to start the generator?

  • Great video. The dad is a perfect example of the metrosexual male. He buys the biggest flashy revolver he can find, then his wife puts his testicles back in her purse and tells him no ammo.

That girl would have got her a wonderful slap across the face from me. Then I would have put her butt to work securing the house boiling water, what ever else needed to be done.

Yeah the video may make me want to buy more guns and ammo, but more importantly would be more food, and medicine.

  • The girl is soooo aNNNNNoyiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnn

  • "Don't worry, baby. FEMA will be here soon..."

Famous last words spoken right before they haul you off to the Murderdome for the next shift of rape gangs.

Bottom line: only you are responsible for you and yours.

    What's your backup plan?

  • haha......

  • They will pry my hot chocolate from my cold dead hands...

  • HaHa. No shit. Gun no bullets??

  • if i were the parent of that girl i would throw her into a flock of infected birds

  • Everyone should learn survial

  • ***** / *****

    excellent clip!

  • who watches the jungle book any more

  • AWESOME! This is horror at its best - not scary because of what happens in itself, but the implications of future horror. "Dont worry honey...FEMA will be here soon!" hahah greatness

  • Wow, nice! Really! Good job, it has something apocalyptic.

  • thats hardcore.

  • Dumb girl.

  • ok.......weird

  • Is there a way to copy and save this file to my computer?

    Love the video!

  • Sell the kid.

  • hey very good movie, im used to crappy home videos here in youtube but this one is really well made!

    congrats! rating 5

  • Not too shabby a dramatization, but I find it hard to believe that someone who prepared that much would forget to buy ammunition. In the event of a national disaster, a gun in the hand is better than a thousand cops on the phone.

  • Hokay... You chaps do realise that out of a population of billions, Avian Flu has killed only around 100 people?

It's not that serious, remember when we were all going to die due to SARS? That blew over, and soon so will this.

Thatr said, pretty cool movie, except for that annoying egocnetric daughter. That sort of ruined it for me. I don't think that anybody would be complaining about boredom when most of the population of the United States was dead!

  • I just watched Saw III and read the credits that said the editor was Kevin Greutert. Is this the same Kevin Greutert who made Old Friends?

  • He edits the saw movies.

  • FEMA to the rescue, i feel much safer! i glad iam getting my national ID card soon for id give up freedom for liberty....

    wake up AMERIKA!

  • Very well produced. Time to buy more ammo & Mre's!

  • I have never posted any comments on You Tube before, but I fely strongly enough to register just to tell the makers of "Old Friends" what a great job they did. Is this going to be the first in a series on the bird flu featuring this family, I hope?

  • I doubt it Bivoas... looks like they all died.

  • i have walked that thin blue line, when the checks stop going to the hood , the hood will go looking for what you got .

  • WOW!! Very Realistic.

  • The father should have thrown the daughter into isolation... at least to shut her up. ;)

  • I dig it.

  • amazing! you guys are incredible

  • Great music--very menacing. And what editing! Excellent movie!

  • Great movie; very very professional.

  • Lentils, rice, vegetable oil and firewood are so cheap a person can buy a year of food and fuel for a week's pay.Nobody should be starving in the USA if somehting like this happens and if you have enough you'll be able to share with people you know and they will help keep your area secure.

  • Interesting film. Congrats. My only complaint is the lack of preparation for such a "survivalist" father. One .357 with no ammo? Makes a great paperweight that way. :))) Still...perhaps short films like this will start the sheeple actually thinking...

    -Az

  • Don't worry baby, FEMA will be here soon.

And that's when your troubles will really start.

Oh, and buy ammo for your gun, no matter what the wife says.

  • great job! that was put together very well. what kind of cameras did you use?

  • We had two DVX100s. Shot over Thanksgiving weekend last year. Thanks for the kind words.

    kg

  • Yo Mouth. I guess your vision of the world assumes that there won't be criminals or roving gangs of thieves willing to take what they want by any means of force they deam necessary. What a fuckin' simpleton.

  • This makes me think about the ebook "Lights Out" (it's free) where an entire cul-de-sac, blocked themselves off from the road, set up 24 hour guards, etc. This little movie shows the wisdom of the book.

Probably those two guys would have shot the guy from a distance once he pulled a gun on them. Of course, you can't predict what a nut will do... or even desperate, normally non-nuts.

  • Good video! Check it out.

  • Pretty good video, to bad you couldnt have gone more outside of your limits...

  • Very good. If you into preparing - KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. I'm so glad I live out in the sticks.

We had an ice storm here last month & didn't have electricity for 10 days. My sons were just like that girl - "I'm so bored..." This generation of kids has never known what it's like to not have cartoons on 24 hours a day. My kids don't believe me when I tell them all we had was Saturday mornings. :-)

  • You should try doing what our family does (although it might be a little late for your kids, we started when they were young). We have what we call "low voltage evenings". We turn off all of the "nonessential" electricity (everything except the fridge and freezer) and "pretend" that there were an emergency. We go over our plan, play games and cook with our emergency supplies.

Kids LOVE IT. In fact when the power does go out they literally shout HOORAY!

  • Good idea. We do take them camping without electronic toys and they have a blast, but when they are at home they have this strong desire for the TV & video games.

During that ice storm we played about 4 hours of Yahtzee, 4 hours of Blokus, etc.

  • Another possibility is to get a converter. (converts your cars DC electricity to AC power. So you could let them watch a little TV!

  • That would be an 'INVERTER' you speak of...

    Cheers

  • "Don't worry, honey! FEMA will be here soon!" Famous last words.

  • I'm not American, so I had no idea what this 'FEMA' was...

    Isn't a FEMA a kind of gun?

  • It;s a government agency that CLAIMS there here to help if a NATIONAL disater happens and they've proved that they do their jobs POORLY!!!

  • You're not an american...but you heard about google ?

  • A well made video. Obviously a lot of stuff the people in the video could have done better, but it flowed logically from their preparations and thought processes.

One thing I found a little unbelievable was how much little attacks stopped them, like being cut on the arm or kicked, but major injuries like having your face burned didn't stop others.

  • True, but having your throat slit could be an ender. Although the amount of blood would be copious!

  • Modern cars have a screen in the gas intake tube to prevent you from being able to siphon fuel out.

  • I would have thought the same thing, but while we were filming the siphon really worked just like it did in the story.

    kg

  • Well done. Looked very believable as far as the setup without the lights & the teenager did a great job!

you touched on a lot of important things that the average joe like me hasn't thought thru - very good.

    You have my wheels spinning.

    Sams Club this evening! :-)

  • Yeah, it looked to be an older truck, that's probably why.

2nd "If you are preparing, keep your mouth shut."

  • very well done

  • We will not survive Bird Flu, earthquakes, an alien invasion or the Mass media if we fight

  • You stick with that plan - I'm sure the thugs in your neighborhood will enjoy your food, wife/daughter & whatever else you may currently have.

personally I'm going to stick with self defense - I'm not going to spread violence, but if someone else wants to bring then I will respond with the appropriate firepower.

  • Right. Your vision of the world assumes someone is coming to get you and yours. Generally, what you think is coming is what you look for. If you think a fight is imminent, you start buying ammo. In the long run, human survival and freedom is at stake - not our little homes. The Powers That Be want us to fight and kill each other - so they don't have to do that dirty work.

  • Your vision of the world assumes that there won't be criminals or roving gangs trying to take what they want by any means necessary, including by force??? God, what a simpleton.

  • Sure there will, but in your neighborhood? Probably not. This same logic says there are terrorists in the world who want to destroy America, therefore we must invade Iraq. You need to have a sense of REALITY and let go of the FEAR (False Expectations Accepted as Reality). Your thoughts and actions are being controlled in this way. By acting on Fear, you become an unwitting puppet.

  • So your willing to bet everything on a probably not? Good luck as I honestly don't wish anyone ill will & hope you survive if any kind of world wide disease like this ever spreads...

  • Probably a lot worse in RL

  • makes u want to stock up on more guns and ammo

  • Good job very real

  • Good reason to buy a serious weapon that is loaded and on you, not left on a counter. Darwin at work.

  • His wife probably told him that he didnt NEED to buy bullets and that he was being paranoid.

An important thing to note: when your "buddies" come back the second time, they will bring weapons with them.

  • Hollywood again, it will be even worse in real life.

  • naaah... It'll be worse.

  • Soon to be in a neighborhood near you!
