PS. I also have a version that uses portable java (meaning you could put this on a USB stick and play it even on a machine that has no java and you don't have privilliages to install java on it. To summarize how you use this:

1. Copy paste code to notepad and save as Minecraft.bat

2. Make a new folder where you put the launcher (Minecraft.bat) and your minecraft appdata folder (.minecraft)

3. As long as you keep everything in the same folder you can move it almost anywhere you want and it will work like on a usb stick :)

I've actually made a portable offline launcher using this trick a while back but it still works perfectly. Might aswell share it even though I'm planning on doing some major updates (adding the possibility to play online or offline for example) now that 1.0 is released :) It's in batch so you just need to copy&paste it to notepad and save it as Minecraft.bat. After that just copy your .minecraft folder to the same directory as the launcher and you're done :) you can even copy (continues...)

You can also make a bat file with this command so you dont need to always Windows+R the command.

Open Notepad, paste the command:

java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -cp "%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\*" -Djava.library.path="%APPDATA%­\.minecraft\bin\natives" net.minecraft.client.Minecraft "YOURnameHERE"

Save it as a .bat file, and you now have an shortcut that will start minecraft with that name you want! :D Tested and works!

This method didn't work for me (v.1.6.6)

What i did to make this work was download Minecraft 1.6.6 from The Pirate Bay (download the most popular torrent) and followed the instructions. Then you push "windows button + R" and type in %appdata% . Then you go to the .minecraft folder, and then the server folder. In the server folder, you just run the MineCraft (Spoofer) file, and then you can choose whatever name you want :)

Works like a charm for both me and my little brother :)

this is the folder that contains all the files for minecraft, unless ur using a cracked version, so delete the files in .minecraft and put all your cracked files in there instead, then it should work.

Back up .minecraft and any files you move first so if u feck up you can just restart.
