@TheNebakanezer Sorry Gary. French translation to English is quite difficult sometimes. I was telling your actual work, not your work on the guitar. For a one year guitarist, you are very very good bro. You cannot see your improvement, but I had exactly the same feeling after one or two years. That's why you will have to be patient.
Happy Easter G. Thanks for sending the mp3. Ur right about how off the recording sounds on Youtube, on my mp3 player it sounds deep, full, and harmonic, its not flat sounding or out of key at all. Maybe when Youtube processed the upload something went wrong? Maybe you should upload it again. I love it.
Hi Gary!! very nice song and nice performance!! thank you so much for sharing!! Have a great Easter!! take care!! love and blessings to you and your loved ones!!
@allmymusic2009 Hello Ms. Laly! I appreciate that very much. I apologize for not making time to say hello for so long. I've been very busy. I wish you and yours a wonderful Easter, thank you for the blessing.
@Snougdoug thank you Guillaume. If only I could sing and play as well as you; considering I picked up a guitar and started playing a little over a year ago, it still amazes me that I can play anything more complicated than "I'm a little tea pot" or "London Bridge is falling down"!
@alexandraxxxxxx lol. That line is true, much like "we always hurt the ones we love the most". I came up with the music when playing around and sat down to record it incase I forgot. As I played, I sang what came to mind. The line you mention and the oxymorons; "too much of not enough", "always the same, so random it just can't be explained", and "Its feeling lonely when I'd rather be alone" were all born in that session. Accidental moment of semi-genius! LOL
@alexandraxxxxxx thanks Alexandra, I appreciate it. It started out as such a shallow song fueled by frustrations. It was surprising to me that a positive message emerged out of the maelstrom. Can't put my finger on why it sounds like crap on computer speakers but so good on my stereo, earphones, or while driving. The harmonic qualities are way off, to the point of deceptive tonal inference(out of key vocals/chords). Its very weird.
@stealurface1976 hey Jesse. Thank you brother. I'm pulling for you in the Yobi contest. Congratultions on making it into the top 16. Its good to see that an Artist's talent still means something in certain venues.
@TheNebakanezer welcome man!..thanks alot..well its still looking like a popularity contest..lucky i have friends on youtube eh...well i'm hopeing once its down to 8 it will be more about talent and less about rallying for votes
@stealurface1976 lol at eh! No reading between the lines necessary there bro. I wouldn't bet against you in a popularity contest though. Don't think twice about the rallying; even well-known, signed bands/Artists with millions of fans, utilize street teams to peak interest and gather support.
@Snougdoug Thanks brother. It has been 9 months since selling my Martin, its so nice to have a good guitar again. Glad you like the flanger effect..acoustic purists consider it a sin-lol. Did you notice the balancing act at 3:15? I placed the stomp box too far away and could barely reach it!
@Snougdoug lol definately. Thanks Guillaume. Drink some French wine and eat some of that nasty looking, soft, non-pasteurized, bacteria laden, French cheese you like so much! Isn't called Formage de lait cru? Have a great weekend bro.
@TheNebakanezer No problem. Lmso :D Warm Goat cheese on toast, green salad with Olive oil and Balsamic vinegar with a very good chilled Rosé from south of France. Here is my lunch ;)
@Snougdoug There you go laughing your socks off again-Lmao! That sounds delicious. I'm off to work. 3 double cheeseburgers on buns, french fries with salt and ketchup, and Coca-cola from the south of the U.S., here is my lunch! Hey atleast the fries are French :)
@Snougdoug wow I had it right except the word "au"..I used "de", thats closer than I expected to be. Intestinal flora-huh- yeah I'll bet warm Goat cheese produces some serious intestinal flora....is that the term you Frenchmen use to describe farting?! :P
Nice rhythm Gary and well written lyrics. I like how you fit that line "If we could see the world through a child's eyes", we should all practice this a little more. The affect you had going on in the end sounded really neat. Mark
@Maysey1 Thank you Mark. The song was born as a release of negative energy but as it bloomed, a positive message emerged in the chorus and second verse. I'm not very happy with the recording, it sounds great through big speakers but when played through computer speakers it sounds like trash! lol
Nice lyrics man. im an original musician too. id be better if i had your lyric writing capacity ;)

@TheNebakanezer You're good ,you're good. But a chat on digestion & fart on your song o_O... I cannot stop laughing.
It means that it is good for digestion. Cow cheese "au lait cru" helps you having some nasty farts ;) Btw you are a good songwriter.
