@ChristopherS188 An assault rifle shouldn't be able to beat a shotgun at CQC, especially if he is just hip firing, so it is OP you don't really know what your talking about. Epic have sorted it out, if you hip fire with it you will be looking at the ceiling in seconds.
There were once 3 Cog soldiers and 2 Locust. Now the Locust went in with their RLs. The dumb Cog soldiers were carrying close range weapons and a medium-long range weapon. They missed while the locust downed them. Then waited too long and got downed. And so ends the story.
The weapon isn't op. The Cogs just tried to run up with DBS and got gunned down by two guys with Retro's. Everyone quit crying cuz it happened. Let Epic handle it!! You don't need to

this is a great illustration of why the gun should be modified. I honestly don't mind a strong, short range assault rifle with wide spread and crazy kick...but this shouldn't happen. No assault rifle should be able to down three people that quickly. A shotgun, sure, but not a rifle. All I want is a slight nerf in power and for them to reduce the hip fire accuracy. For what it's worth though, I think this change will happen.

@IDeadWork You can only get a max of 110 for finishing YOUR down. If someone shoots at YOUR down, like is shown in this video, YOU lose some of those points. Even if you downed them.
Go watch some gameplays and pay close attention to the points.
So the points the guy gets doesn't indicate how much damage he gave them (in order to down them). Watch the video and pay attention to the bullets coming from behind him, 4 bullets hit those guys at most.

This weapon is so underpowered - it needs a longer clip, quicker reload, a damage boost, and a pink ribbon. Naah, just kidding about all that... besides the ribbon thing. =o
