I think they should make a new star wars battlefront game. The first and second ones were just too much fun to play around with and they could be much better now on an xbox 360 or ps3 then they were on the the ps2.
Goldeneye isn't a "franchise", Bond games however are. You can't make a sequel to a movie game without a subsequent movie being made. Regardless, Perfect Dark was on the same engine and is just as good if not better then Goldeneye, and the publishers are still around, nowadays releasing Viva Pinata game.
Perfect dark was awesome don't get me wrong but i liked goldeneye better. And it is a franchise because there's more than one game with the name on it.
Rogue Squadron is currently being released onto the Wii (Not sure if this is an all new game or a Wiiware title). However former members of Factor Five are actually filing lawsuits against it so it might not be released due to legal issues.
The reason I suggested it to you was because I did think you were a little harsh. But that was my opinion about your video on Top 5 franchises that should die.
Seeing two Star Wars games on the list I take it you are a Star Wars Fan?
You also mentioned Panzer Dragoon as a runner up. Have you played any of those games? I've only played Orta, which is an X-box exclusive and I enjoyed it.
Actually if you count runners up there were 3 sw games. I like the movies but sadly the best games are dead. I have played th pd games and really enjoyed them.
They need to bring back Starfox. Yeah sure; the three after 64 were solid enough; but that's all we saw. Make another Starfox game!
