WHat lighting were you using to light the foreground - i'm interested in getting some for astro time-lapse, and how do you power for say a 3-4 hours shoot?
@ChopsCharlie If you mean the flashes they were cars passing by :). If you need light I would recommend LED lights. For power you can use a 12v battery with an adapter for your cam and lights or a battery grip for your cam should last you 4 hrs atleast
@themikepandeychannel Not the flashes, the actual foreground lighting you have going for the whole time-lapse. So yeah, the LEDs. You haven't got any links to some possible options for the lights and battery have you? I've got battery grip for my 5D :)

Can you tell me the camera, lens and settings you used for the video?
I will be going to Spiti mid-September. I want to capture some similar video.

@dsbm223 Canon 5D mark II, 24 - 70 mm , 20 sec exposure every 3 seconds, Aputure intervalometer.
Dress warm, september will be cold! :)
