  • gordon ramsay all the way although i do like jamie

  • amazing chef. i love jamie, but i don't know about "top chef from Britain"... Britain seems to have plenty of amazing chefs including a few possibly better and more "iconic" than Oliver.

  • he is a great Italian chef, but when you see a chef using "Pataks Curry Paste" in an Indian you probably don't think they're the best ever chef from Britain...

  • if you like saliva all over your dinner call jamie

  • he beat marco and gordon, NOWAYYYYY

  • @MultiMAGICDAN I know, WHAT A JOKE!

  • I wish there was an American chef that could point out all the shitty food our kids eat at school. Oh yeah, I forgot, they're too busy living the celebrity lifestyle and making tons of money.

  • hes not the best chef but the soundest, such a nice guy and a dream boss, so i will not argue, pierre white da best

  • I don't agree that Oliver is the most iconic.

He's made and is making a noble attempt against processed food and crappy intake but, in terms of... being a top chef, Ramsay is top.

Whether you dislike Ramsay or not is irrelevant. Oliver hasn't had a 3 Michelin star restaurant and Ramsay is the most obsessive and renowned in Britain.

  • THIS RUBBER LIPPED LITTLE CUNT HAS NOT EVEN WON ONE MICHELIN STAR

HOW THE FUCK CAN HE BE NAMED BEST CHEF AT ANYTHING

THIS MUST BE A CHEAP PUBLICITY STUNT

  • what a fucking joke.

  • british food stil is disgusting... its the tv and foreign recepts that made these cooks famous

  • a fucking school cafeteria doesn't count as a kitchen btw fuck nuts.

  • fuck that goddamn bullshit cocksuck tit balls wank cuntcuntcunt. he was never a chef!!!!!! he only ever reached cdp in a decent "star-less" kitchen!! what a fucking piss take. marco for ever. shit i just realized i'm a fan boy. but seri-fucking-ously thats bullshit. at least give it to someone who actually ran a kitchen. shit.

  • @ddarshiell HA ur wrong sooo wrong!

  • @afabandjon a school cafeteria doesn't count as a kitchen, btw, fuck nuts.

  • o_O most iconic? yikes

  • Most iconic british chef? Are you kidding? Gordon and Marco would've deserved that so much more. Not saying that Jamie isn't a great chef but not quite in the same league as Gordon and Marco.

  • @TomValedro politics and ass licking i guess, but he is entertaining, gordon ftw

  • What's the deal with top chefs and messy hair?

  • MARCO AND GORDAN

  • Gordon is better.. its just that gordon aint gay and he aint changing the fast food thingies in schools.... like in my school when i used 2 live in england a dumb kid sent a letter 2 this jamie and he took all the crisps away D:

  • Gordon Ramsay is still better!

  • he shits me off sometimes...but thats just me, fans of Oliver that doesn't mean I hate you or anything its just my likes and dislikes thats all ;)

  • so what.. he's more famous. gordon still beats his ass ¬¬

  • I liked Jamie when he was the naked chef.

  • celebrity "chefs" are just TV personalities, not actual functioning chefs of any skill.

  • @jonesgerard That's the dumbest attempt at discrediting these people I've ever heard. So the likes of Marco Pierre White & Gordon Ramsay are just "TV personalities" huh? lol You do realize Ramsay and Marco have more Michelin stars between them than how old you're acting right? Complete & utter blasphemy.

  • @jonesgerard That's just not true. Some are, some aren't. Don't lump Bobby Flay in with that.

  • IN UR FACE, RAMSAY! HAHA!

  • Jamie will make the best food in YOUR house. Ramsay will just keep the coke heads happy because they get "off" at the whole "we are so rich trip" thing,

  • The avg YT member's comprehension is simply astounding. "Jaime is far from being the best" Yeah and the sky is blue, ice is cold, and it burns when I pee. This was an award for "Most Iconic British Chef". Nowhere in the title does it say "Best" or "Most Acclaimed". You ask people around the world who's a british chef they like and they'll say Jaime. Why? Because he's everywhere and people relate to him. You act as though the avg person is just suppose to know who Marco and Heston are.

  • Comment removed

  • @impressionsbysimon fuck Marco Pierre that stuck up buffoon.... couldn't care a rats ass about his Michelin stars. i bet his big and nasty ego reflects itself as bad taste in his food. wouldn't touch his food.

but Jamie who has a friendly and lovely personality.... his food i would definitely enjoy!

  • Jamie oliver - Top Chef

    TOP CUNT MORE LIKE

he gets all this TV work and he still has not won his first Michelin star

The BBC producer who discovered him for the Naked Chef years ago should be taken outside and publicly flogged

    I have an hour spare

One more thought before i go

Jamie once called Marco Pierre White "a psychological bully"

Of course he did not say it to his face

Marco said he would wipe the floor with him and called him "a fat chef with a drumkit"

I HATE THE RUBBER LIPPED CUNT

  • Gordon Ramsay is absolutely the best!

  • gordon ramsay is way better than this fat fuck...

  • David Campbell your out of order he is a secent family guy

  • well deserved! he is a fabulous chf and has changed the way children eat in schools. Well done jamie!

  • Jamie Oliver creates good food from good ingredients, and his message is a solid one: cooking is not the complicated thing that restaurants make us think. It is the reality of cooking for ourselves and others. It's using what you have, no matter what your income, to eat healthy and delicious fare. I am thrilled that this man, who's worked hard in the service of a simple idea ( we all deserve to eat well), is prosperous and driven by a desire to do good.

What the hell is wrong with that?

  • i like jamie but have to say ramsay is better

  • hes no gordon ramsay... no way he beats gordon

  • je vous aime a mourir jamie oliver

  • He's not even a good chef, uninspiring and boring are the words that spring to mind when i think about him.

  • idhoddy1 i feel a bit sorry for you then, nevermind someone has to be the sad git dont they.......

  • By the way its an L at the start of that...You don't need to get on your high horse, ask any chef in England what they think of him and you'll see...

  • jamie oliver hit me

  • I hope you realise davidcampbell that accusations like these can get you into an awful lot of trouble. I suggest you tell your mum what you are doing before you get a knock on the door by the police. you have already been reported sweetheart and i know you are only 14 but you should never say things like this about anyone.......

  • Well his head got bigger after this hey. :D

    - Tony.

  • I was going to make a comment about Marco, but let's be fair to Jamie, he isn't anywhere near the same league as the likes of Marco so why bother? Let's just allow Jamie to get on with his sillyness in peace.

  • I wouldnt call jamie a chef

  • i love Jamie... please visit the Philippines... hehehe

  • yaay for jamie!!!

  • I've been desperately trying to get a copy fo Jamie's: Jamie at Home Christmas Special 2007, but it's not been released on DVD yet. Does anyone know where I can get a copy? I can't steam uk video because I have Canadian URL. Would really appreciate some help. The 2007 special was shown as a reprise in 2008 and I think it may disappear completely and never be broadcast again. thanks

  • Really talented indeed, I am a big fan!!! Go Jamie, go!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Jamie who???????

  • reply to:

    rjastrub.....

    how about the grammar??

  • There isn't really a comparison between G.R. and Jamie Oliver - Jamie's cooking is down to earth - and "housewife" friendly....

He certainly explains his techniques and foods well, and doesn't assume that the viewer knows everything to do with cooking.

His campaign to get processed crap food out of schools is nothing short of honourable!!

    Go Jamie Go!!

  • I used to think Jamie O's cooking was what British cooking was all about, until I saw GR's Kitchen Nightmares. Jamie O might teach cookery for the masses, but his cooking is nothing out of the ordinary.

  • I can't believe rjastrub spelt 'chef' wrong. I think Jamie Oliver is excellent, and the messages he sends about animal welfare and good eating from good cooking are very important to us all. :-)

  • English is not even second language to me...

Jamie can afford shopping in speciality shops and delicatessens, but in his books he always pretend that he buy cheaply in supermarkets.

Good eating for him and for most of his readers are 2 different things. At least other shefs don't lie where they shop for ingredients.

  • rj, your English is absolutely marvelous. I would love to be able to write as articulately as you in a second language.

  • hey there's a microphone of RTL! that's a german channel :D

    @topic:

    jamie's gorgeous and absolutly amazing - and he's sexy, i'd say :D <3

  • He is an excellent presenter, but very average as a sheff.

  • rjastrub.....

apparently you're pretty average at spelling

  • on the other hand my cooking -is well beyond average, so spelling is not counts:)

  • how about the grammar??

  • @rjastrub

Did you seriously just spell it "sheff"? ROFL wow.

  • he is a fucking moron

    and should die

  • What idiots made Oliver most iconic chef?! People who think a pasta salad with extra virgin olive oil is original and creative?

All his 'campaigns' are for the camera, as Marco rightly pointed out, and he does not spend nearly enough time in the kitchen to be a chef.

  • marco pieree white and gordon ramsay ftw
