  • One day that dog will turn around and tear that boy to pieces. Anyway i still love staffies I just don't think they want to be a sofa

  • On day that dog will turn around and rip tha

  • The dogshould always have tthe lowest rank in the pack (family).

The child and dog should interact for the benefit of themboth

under supervision of adults or older members of the pack( authority).

The child should be educated in respecting the privacy of the dog

    just as any other packmembers.

The childshould not be allowed to take advantage of the fact that its superior

to the dog by for ex never letting the dog be, pulling it's tail/ears (in other words respect/honour)

    Complete circle of life.

  • I agree that a dog is a dog & can bite. But staffies, like this one are known to be very good and tolerant of kids. My staffy loves kids playing with him.

  • i can guarentee you could all leave the room and leave the staffy and baby doing the same thing and the dog would still act the same, best dog breed ever.

  • Im 15 and i could probably ride a great dane :D

  • A dog is a DOG - and nothing more! Remember that! Not a "nanny" nor "a baby"! Personifying them is very dangerous. There are over 28,000 people bitten by their faces by dogs every year in the UK! See the facts for yourself: ukandspain(dot)com/dangerous-dogs/

  • The dog at the end: "Fuck this".

  • IM GETTING A STAFFY!!!!! <--- Just thought you should know.

  • poor dog

  • Staffiys adores kids I have a book right in front of me telling me this...

  • not funny at allll ! .... dogs can bite

  • @Wizbang2u What, so you think that a St Bernard ain't supposed to play with kids too? Every dog can bite, no matter what breed it is. The thing that matters is how you raise your dog, and staffs are one of the kindest dogs tbh. They are also called "Nanny dog".

  • that would be cute if the dog gave him a piggy back ride

  • What a beautiful bond these two will share.

  • ahhhhhhhhhhh cute how can anyone staffs are nasty

  • I hate people that hate staffs and this video explains why. Staffies are the best by far. I love this video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wish my Amstaff could be like that

  • thats so cute!

  • nothing gets in the way of a staff and some grub haha great dogs.

  • Staffordshire bull terrier's are one if not thee top dogs to be around children. Check the kennel club.

  • I respect that dog for having patience with a child.

  • You should teach your kid to respect animals, not treat them like toys.

  • @Deesade86 ohh lighten up its a little toddler playing a game with his dog, kids dont need to act like adults, the dog couldnt care less, pull the stick out your arse

  • nowt wrong wiv staffies , just some of the mongs that own them.

  • What a perfect example of the family staffy :) they will take so much with patience and humour and then walk away! I love the bit where Lennon fell off and Tyrone just looked at him like NUTTER!!!! pmsl!! Thanks for sharing xx

  • staffys are great dogs im going to get them u people think there vicious but there loving and caring

  • Don't forget that bull breeds can rake pain and rough play better than other breeds. This just shows the tolerance of staffs

  • This is extremly dangerous, even if the dog is very calm and affectionate, the baby could hurt the dog by jumping on his back. The only way a dog can express pain is by growling on the baby or biting him like he will do with his puppies. To me, this does not teach the baby to live with a dog.

  • Did you ever had a Staffy?

  • @CelineDogsland Staffies were bred as fighting dogs,do you honestly think a toddler could actually hurt a Staffie?

  • i love staffies and they are well natured but would u let the dog jump over the kid like that staffys feel wronged sometimes when the rules dont apply to every1

  • lol that's just so cute. and so nice of a dog! I love it!

most untrained dogs would get mad if a kid did that

your dog is very beautiful <3

  • that poor dog lol

  • What a lovely dog, just like most Staffy dogs.

  • shout out to my rescued staffie girl jenga - mommy loves you!

  • i have two staffys one girl and one boy they are so gentle and loving it is nice to see a video where the staffs are not shown in a negative light , i have a couple of vids of our staffs playing

  • I can read his mind: "Jeeze...It's been what, 2yrs? When's this fuqqin human kid going to grow up?!"

  • @neomuttley

lol..that's funny. I think most staffys think that way around kids... but love them to much to hurt them....I have a 3 yr old staffy and my wife is pregnant....should make for some good times...

  • educating your kids early on how to look after your dogs goes a long way. e.g dogs aren't related to horses, therefore no riding the pooch xD love staffys by the way, ive got a cross and she's quite the character

  • 1:37 lol hes had enough xD

  • Comment removed

  • omg what a beautifully patient and gentle dog!!!

  • Staffys are the best!

  • well tempered dog nice...

  • What a good dog just sitting there whilst he gets beaten up!! And people call these dogs vicious obviously don't know that they are called the nanny dog for a reason

  • wow this dog is chillin

  • if the staff had a problem he/she would have made it known in the past these dogs were used to babysit the owners tribe id trust my ones with my life and daily trust them to protect my belongings its the bad owners who spoil it for everyone else hence the strict gun ownership in the uk ive been bitten off many dogs but they usually farm dogs thinkin they protecting the farm get a grip people learn your dogs behaviour

  • i dont get it people are always pinning the blame on staffies but any dog can be nasty its just the twats that train them to be nasty because they are very very strong dogs.

  • I don't get all the arguing in the comments. If people train a dog well, know it well, and understand how to deal with smart dogs, there is no problem. You supervise the dog and the child, that's all. An intelligent dog with healthy owners and a healthy mind will understand and want to guard what's yours. When I was a baby, our Bullmastiff used to protect and guard me, and my older brother. I still have vague memories of a huge, protecting, gentle creature.

  • i have had staffordshire bulls all my life and so have all my family including grandparent who are long dead we have never had a staffie who showed any kind of aggression towards anybody they love and protect children hence what they were first bred for (to nanny children) this dogis true to the breed ...loving his little girl ...calm and relaxed...beautiful x

  • i have had staffordshire bulls all my life and so have all my family including grandparent who are long dead we have never had a staffie who showed any kind of aggression towards anybody they love and protect children hence what they were first bred for (to nanny children) this dod is true to the breed ...loving his little girl ...calm and relaxed...beautiful x

  • wooow that dog look oh so very dangerous:) can you feel the sarcasm!! all that dog is worried about is that bone

  • Tyrone is TERRIFIC like most of 'em

  • This is the cutest video yet!

  • lol hes like wateverr. just chewin my rawhide. haha too cute

  • I love this video, my mum has two staffordshire bulls and they are soft as anything to. i hate it that so many people judge staffys because of the people that have brought them up wrong. staffys are so loyal, its a lovely video. keep posting. dont worry about the haters xx

  • The nanny dog showing how it got it's name

  • thats the cutes baby iv ever seen :O

  • lol get teabagged

  • I am charmed with your video sound very good dogs

    we have 3 staffy

    breast and the daughters

    my from is spain

  • my 1y/o cousin does the same thing to their pitbull staffy mix...to damn cute!!!!

  • awwwwww cute an the dog didt even looked botherd .. an will people stop saying there killer dog coz thay aint its only wen stupid people train them to be grrrr

  • Baby jumping on Killer dog :-) Even when the dog is eating... You just must hate it... Or what? :-)

  • I think it's not the best idea to let the child play with the dog while he's eating. I know, yeah, staffords are cute and harmless and stuff... But anyway: It's still an animal, what would have happened if he just snapped in the baby's face?

  • @Fettmopps1991 AAArggh... Stop it!! You just whant this dog to fit in your beleaf of this race don´t you? No dog snaps any out of the blue... This just shows how patient this races are... Yes these races come from people that have made fight dogs, but none of these dogs have ever attacked people... And if they did, they diddn´t breed on them... Havce got all your info from collored magazines?

  • great video ,thx,

  • THE NANNY DOG !

  • My Collie wouldve bitten the baby and run off withing 3 seconds! These are such lovely dogs, get such bad press! Babysitters!!!

  • the dogs like "enough kid"

  • And everybody that says these dogs are vicious with horrible temperment well this vid shows they can take a lot

  • Your complete ignorance of wild animal behavior proves the stupidity. Don't bother commenting on this I give up and I don't care so I hope you don't have to go to your kid's funeral.

  • @lumeriam and next time you want to make PATHETIC comments put them here so everyone can see your stupidity...as if they needed clarification.

  • @lumeriam Domesticated animal. Wild animals are a different matter.

  • i am in now way a angry idiot. this breed is look down upon cause of thugged out people using a dog as a status symbol. "pitbull" type dogs were never meant to be guard dogs nor intimidators. they have been breeding family companions for decades, not the "human maulers". i have since bought my SECONDstaffordshire bull terrier. all i can say is he loves my 3 daughters family companion and all around terrific temperment.

  • All dogs are dangerous when provoked ...ALL wild animals. It doesn't take much to make them strike they don't have to be mad to bite just hurt by the kid. Unless you can read the dog's mind don't take chances with a helpless child. When a child is maybe 12 or older and knows not to pull it's ears or hurt a dog then maybe it's.

  • @lumeriam 3 daughters that ears, mouth, eyes, tail and testies are in no way to be touched, grabbed, yanked or kicked. if the owner has any intelligence, laws and a behavor code would be laid down and reinforced DAILY!! you should also do research on any breed before taking a pet into a house. there are breeds that dont tolerate infants be sure not to get one if that is your situation

  • @lumeriam this isnt a wild animal... dogs have been domesticated for thousands of years you fucking idiot.

  • IDIOTS. You cannot predict when or how fast this dog could kill the child. These actions should happen: 1. arrest the people for child endangerment 2. arrest the people for one count of animal abuse because the dog will have to be put to death when it kills the child.

  • @lumeriam yes you can learn to read you pets body language and trigger signs. again if you raise a dog in a house that is owned by a ignorant owner then regrettable things will happen. i am being nonjudgemental when asking you this...did something along these lines we are speaking of happed to you or someone close to you?

  • @lumeriam you talk like this is a bear in the forest and that kid decided to start riding and jumping around on it. The domestic dog is the most widely kept working and companion animals in human history. the only dogs that are unpredictable are ones that have been abused. this dog does not even show the simplest of signs that is or has been physically or emotionally abused. all animals are different if dogs were so unpredictable we would of never started breeding them in the first place.

  • @lumeriam your on drugs... obviously youve never had a staffy before otherwise youd realise how idiotic your comments are.

  • @lumeriam youv clearly never owned a staff and probably no other dog breed so your opinion really doesnt matter.you just make yourself sound foolish and its people like you that fund the media as you get hysterical whenever something is printed in the papers.its pointless you giving your ignorant opinion as its clear you know nothing about animals while all the while pretending to be an expert from your computer.

  • 0:49 it stepped on the dog's dick

  • omg they are stupids people it's dangerrous for baby !

  • my husband and I are thinking of getting either a staff or a bull to add to our family, we already have a beauceron who is 2years. we'd like a play mate for both him and our 6 year old child. they are amazing dogs when rared properly just like kids,

  • There's a lot of angry people posting comments on these staffy videos, lol.

  • Hahaha! The bab sits on his head! X¬D

What a sweet sweet dog! Absolutely beautiful.

  • This is exactly how I would expect a typical staff to be around children.. :0)

  • :D rly funny, nice doggy im getting a rottie in 2 weeks and i hope that happens too lol and the baby almost stomped on the doggys nuts lol

  • Most dogs bite out of fear, not aggression, staffs being a very courageous dog makes them a lot less likely to harm than most other dogs. I don't know why they have such a bad rep.

  • jjejeje, q lindo!

  • I have a pedigree staffy and Iam so angry that the media in the UK has subconsciously linked the 2 words "dangerous" and "status" to the word "dog" when it comes to this breed. Now the general public associate this breed with those 2 words. The media constantly uses those 2 words and it has sadly stuck now. Gets me so riled!!

  • now that shows a staffs true nature, ya need to muzzle that kid thou lol.

    cool!

  • I have a 4 year old Johnson bully (Tank) and a 2 year old daughter. Tank was snuggling next to her when she was 3 weeks old. and just like this vid, if you give him something to chew on she can put a saddle on him and he wouldn't care. American bulldogs are about as cool of a dog as they come. But he will kill your cat.

  • @t5tuber

I've a staffordshire bull terrier and a cat. The cat is killing my dog XD lol

  • Clock xDxDxD

  • Personally I'd NEVER let my kid sit on a dog, no matter what breed it was. My younger brother used to sit on my dog when he was a baby and it took my dog a long time to get over it, poor thing. This dog obviously has very good manners (he got up and walked off once hed had enough). Staffies are such wonderful dogs, and are great with kids, its such a shame the media bull shit about them all the time. Hail to the staffies - one of the best breeds out there! :)

  • Staffy's are the best dog ever.

  • Yes I giggled all the way through this aswel... I have had staffys in my family my whole life, my aunty used to breed them. I remember my first dog 'Muncho' who I used to play in the backyard with, one day I pulled his tail so hard I heard it clcik (I was only about 4) so I didnt break anything, he just turned around and looked at me and then licked me... Please just enjoy the video for what it is and that is just heartwarming... I love this old mate!

  • seriously people.

This is a dog. it scratches its own itches harder than this kid is being on it.

Secondly this is a Staffy, aka nanny dog, hanging out with its kid.

The only way you would see this dog get vicious is if a stranger were to show up and try to hurt the child.

  • Kids lucky normally they gobble them up

  • that is what you call a good dog. seriously if it had bothered the dog people he would have gotten up and walked off or growled. at which point i'm sure the parents would have taken the kid. but obviously they KNEW their own dog and knew he wouldn't hurt the kid. calm ur shite people

  • "these kind" of dogs this kind of dog is the best family pet you could have i would know that since i have had a staffy round me since i was born so that makes it20 years, we know have 5 staffs i have my godson stay over every weekend he is 12months old he does the exact same thing to our dogs he even tries to eat out of ther bowls while there eating! and u kn wat they do walk away from ther food and leav him to it! brilliant video very cute :)

  • @2a8bcd

I'll tell you exactly what would have happened.

the dog would have switched immediately from chewing to licking, and let the baby reach in its mouth and take the bone. ... but you clearly have extensive hands on experience with "these kinds of dogs" and would know better...

  • wise up .

  • I think it's not funny does the dog may also hurt 2*

  • I doubt any childs rough housing could hurt a dog like that.

Dog didn't even look aware of the kids presence

  • Giggled all the way through! Our staffy actually falls asleep & snores while my daughters "maul" him with love---well tempered even @ 6 months old----looking forward to seeing how they all "grow up" together! Lucky dog & lucky boy to have each other.

  • Just goes to show all those twits who think Staffys are dangerous...

They are NOT! They are the world's best NANNY DOG!

I love my Staffy! and I love this Staffy too!

  • What an awesome dog!

People need to chill out here. Both the kid and the dog are having fun, obviously, when the dog gets annoyed he can just get up and walk away (as he did at the end)...I hate all these complains from these stupid "animal lovers"...

  • your an idiot, if the dog didnt like it, he would have moved, he dont care, you obviosuly have no clue

  • The retirement village my granny lives doesn't allow people to get a pet after the original pet had died. But after seeing her Staff and how obedient it was they allowed her to get another.

It took down a German Shepperd once when it ran from a yard at them, all under command.

  • mrnickdee is actually ryt, shunt let ya baby do that whhile its eatin.

  • Staffies are known as the *Nanny* dogs esp. the males and are the best dogs suited to small children along with one other breed the cheasepeke bay retriever says the Kennel Club! And my wee girl (staffy) now is the best dog i've ever owned.

Beautiful old boy you have :)

  • I have a Staffy and 2 young children and he is fantastic with them. He is a very jumpy dog but when it comes to my children he calms down and just likes to sit and be stroked. It actually says on the kennel club site under breeds that staffys are very affectionate especially with children.

Staffy's or any other dog for that matter, are only viscious due to bad owners or perhaps a bad start in life once again due to people

In the words of Cesar Milan, A dog is a dog first and a breed second.

  • i know the feeling i have a staffy cross bullmastiff and people just assume its viciouse!? its the daftest thing in existence and wouldnt hurt a fly :P lol

  • stupid people that know nothing about staffys just assume theyre "vicious" cos theyre very masculine looking dogs.they are not at all(unless they r brought up by the wrong owners)

my staffy is the most BEAUTIFUL dog ever...he has NEVER bitten anyone, or any other dog, its always the other breeds of dogs that are in the wrong.

and trust me, if that dog DIDNT like what that child was doing to him, he would drop that food in a second, but he seems quite content.read its body lanuage idiots!

  • Lol you don't know me..haha

  • @iloveblackjellybeans i totally agree my staffy is the softest thing youll ever see, she gets scared of little dogs shes that soft , i have a little cousin that always terrorises her and my dog just leaves her to it or just goes upstairs out of her way, i hate how the media has turned these types of dogs into " vicious &dangerus" animals when they are just liek any other dogs, other dogs are just the same, if you raise them badly they can just turn as badly to but they dont go all over the media

  • Comment removed

  • I would be more careful, but I guess the owners know the dogs psychology. Not that the dog would harm the child on purpuse, but if he got upset and nibled towards the child it could cause injury.

Ah, fuck it. Just be careful. lol.

  • staffy are the best!

great with babies, kids, adults, young and old...

  • staffs are frteindlys dogs ever

  • Lovely dog, and lovely baby!!! So cute!!!

  • The dog's brilliant with the kid....so sweet. But kudos to the family for being watchful and also noting when the dog has had enough. I have a Corso bully and he is absolutely mind boggling wonderful with children, very very gentle. But I am ever present and mindful of any tension that might arise, even though I trust him completely.

  • people look at this kind of dog and think oh my god. my brother has 2 staffs and i would trust both of them with my child he does this and more to them and never has either dog looked at him in a bad way they are so gently with him he pulls outta them takes food from them jumps on them and they just sit there and play back with him.

  • they r feeding the dog to distract him for godsake any parent chancing thr fact the dog could turn and maul the child is crazy my friends daughter got mauled and is scared for life. a dog is a dog at the end of the day hes not comfortable at all hence why he keeps whining!

  • Haha. Feeding the dog to distract him? A dog with food is much more likely to behave aggressively, so the fact he was eating a rawhide and still not bothers just shows what a good temperament he has.

  • I love it how the dog is acting like nothing is going on!

This goes to prove about staffys, but as someone has said on here already, you wont hear about the good stuff about them on the news, only the negative stuff.

I had to recently get my staffy put down to do illness, I am so sad. He was the most beautiful dog, definitely my best friend, and I think these two (the little baby and dog) will be best friends too. (RIP Harls)

  • Its not even training...

Staffies are great with kids from birth... Mine growls like a nut when he plays soccer and tackles me when we play fight... but the neighbors bring their toddlers to his fence during the day to say hi and he licks their fingers...

Its just assholes who Train them negatively who give them the bad name...

Rocky will swollow steaks whole he loves them so much, but i can hold one in my fist in his mouth and he will just lick my fist untill i let go...

  • people are so against pitbulls and such. it makes me so mad. its NOT THE BREED ITS THE OWNERS!!

Watch dog whisperer and ull find out!! he has tons of pitbulls and they are amazing.

  • thats rubbish mate lol staffys r so sloppy

  • you douche bag. its people like you who need to be thrown in the ring with the btk's. my staffy was so protective of my little girl he threw himself in danger many times. he even helped my daughter walk and sleep at night by being her blanket. he would cry for her if she was not home and slept under her crib to make sure she was safe

  • @jbanach77 You were simply lucky and anyone who would say what you just said should happen is an angry idiot.

  • @lumeriam i am lucky that i can have such a great addition to my family. my relationship with my wife and daughters is much better. i learned to speak with energy that dosent disrupt the wellness of the house. dogs feel energy and emotion, and Onyx has brought love and joy into our lives. maybe someday you willl experience that with a dog, cat or life partner. dont be so quick to pass judgement with a domesticated animal, not a wild animal

  • Yeah right when pigs fly. + dont believe everythingn you read in the papers...

  • Um the fact that he's eating something shows how well trained he is!!!!! a vicious dog would be pissed if anyone came near it when it had food! it just shows how well trained he is and how he obviously loves the baby

  • knob

  • staffies are truly quite smart.. they know their own strength and really know when to be gentle. and how in the world did they become so patient? :)

  • The dog is still eating the last baby that climbed on him! LOL!

  • rotflol!, good one!

  • these are the kind of vids that the media want to start watching

  • sweet.

My staffy is as dangerous as yours. This are great dogs.

  • hey kid cant you see im chewin here.

  • right there at 1:44 is where tyrone gets his "savage" revenge! haha. just kidding.

  • Staffy's are the best dog! I have a 10yo staffy called "Bundy" and she is just the best fun. People that say staffy's are savage, need to look closer at who's training them, they are the most loving and giving dog

  • Mine is just the same, Staffies are great with kids. Our son is 1yr old too and his best mate is the dog. Check out my vids.

  • that is so so SO SO CUTE!!! omg my daughter would do same thing, jump alova. hopefully gettin a staffy for her for xmas. shes only 2...shhhh but its for me really haha! shown this vid to my mum to try bring her round to the idea of gettin a staffy!! gorgeous baby, and gorgeous dog xxx

  • That is waaaay cute!!! What a good dog! Very patient and everything a Nana puppy should be! =)

  • who said staffy's are bad...lol

  • This is my 1 year old grandson lennon billy playing with of should i say on his best friend, our staffy tyrone the softest dog going...
