you been my mother, been my father, been my sister, been my brother, been my friend, been my lover, been my lawyer in the courtroom, my doctor in the sickroom, my bread when i was hungry, my water when i was thirsty, my shelter when i was homeless, my bridge over deep water, my Lord, my Lord, our Lord, your Lord, same Lord, same Lord! Wanna thank Him for being so good to me! Amen.
i dont mean to start any thing but bishop carl bean of los angeles ca, also sang with bro.bradford and it may have been in one of the later groups but it is also written in a gospel book by anthoney heilbert end ill tell u this i was the min.of music at his church for a few years .and honey when he would break out with this sing after he gave the benediction and hed start bringing back those old routines he did with alex we'd be in church a wahole nother 2 hours.ha ha ha
This is a great performance! I will always love the initial recording though, it seemed to have more emotion and the tambourine definately made a difference.. Kudos on this posting!
Precious memories! I'm so glad I happened upon these clips. Thanx so much for sharing!

right around 1:30 the pianist loses the beat a bit...LOL. But Mr. Bradford always does a superb job with his performances.

It''s powerful and inspiring when u see the young man beside Professor Alex looking up like unto Jesus when he was singing. Y'all Sing in the Spirit!
