  • This film exposes the dirty side of the American dream. If you still think the United States is the land of hope and opportunities for all, watch this film. It was made in the 1980s, and I think it is so much more relevant today.

  • Republicans hate America!

    Obama 2012!

  • @StraightFashionMan So do loud worthless Liberals!

  • Does Michael Moore even grasp the fact that outsourcing jobs results in lower prices for consumers or does this simple economics fact escape him?

  • WOOT Fli..nt. Anyone know where Thom st. is? I used to live there. Honestly went near my old neighborhood today, and every building is burned down.

  • Michael Moore isn't even from Flint....he was born in Davidson, MI and NOT Flint....typical Liberal Fraud

  • @gopconservative78 Moore was born in Flint, Michigan[1] and raised in Davison, a suburb of Flint, idiot

  • @fallenempireoverdrve thank you for pointing that out, I am getting sick of this bs, that fact can easily be check, are people that lazy or stupid to not do it, man I gave up on those people, the the fact that dude just spill his ignorance as fact and be proud of it is what is wrong with this country. There is no way to get those people to see the true, because they don't want to. If they won't even make that effort there is no debate or constructive conservation to be had.

  • @Sauron4389 Its a sad day in america when such a large portion of our population is proud of its ignorance.

  • What makes Michael Moore or anyone else believe a company is responsible for the people of a city? A corporation exists for one reason and one reason ONLY: to maximize shareholder value. The UAW killed Flint. GM would be remiss in its fiduciary duties to keep open plants which lose money.

  • @TiocfaidhArLa Exactly. Unions suffocate corporations and then people like Michael Moore whine that the corporation goes somewhere else.

  • 1:33 thats Bob Eubanks from The Newlywed Game and Card Sharks (1986)

  • Here's a fact that seems to get ignored. Michael Moore did in fact meet with GM CEO Roger Smith before Michael Moore made this film. Thus, the premise of this movie is 100% false.

  • @kartman13 Where did you get your info? How do you know? Can you prove this? Just curious.

  • О том, где посмотреть фильм целиком в русском переводе (с титрами) рассказывается на сайте raritet.sakches.com

  • wait. Who threw the donkey on the water?

  • Just now watching this movie...eerie how the times are 20 years later..but some things are so similar. The wealthy have no idea what it feels like...to have more month than money. Amazing.

  • GM stands for greedy mothers!

  • @MrVideoman44 It's not going to stand for anything, if it keeps bleeding money because of greedy unions, stupid CEOs and lousy cars. They can't live on borrowed taxpayer cash forever.

  • Ugh, I hate how Michael quotes critics using his own voice; it's just so weird and inadvertently arrogant. Movie looks good, though.

  • Moore is a great American!

  • Time clarifies all issues!

Turns out that "Roger" was trying to RIGHT SIZE his company so it did not go bankrupt and the unions would not let him do it. I like Moore because he tackles the tough topics that others will not and has the best of intentions. Unfortunately in this case he could not have been more wrong.

As is always the case the issue turned out to be far more complex than corporate greed.

  • @Pick1980a If one corporation is greedy then another corporation will come along and undercut them so corporate greed is pretty easily squashed. WOW!!!! Capitalism is so complex isn't it?

  • @FitnessByMatt How can any say that Capitalism is not complex. If there are PHD's in Economics than I am pretty sure Capitalism is a little more intricate than you understand it to be.

Ignorant people who do not seek knowledge for knowledge's sake are ruining America.

    Try curling a few books!

  • @Pick1980a Yeah but Michael Moore doesn't even grasp simple concepts in economics such as supply and demand, let alone the far more theories or the intricacies of monetarism vs. Keynesianism. Michael Moore would benefit from a 1000 level college course on Econ.

  • @FitnessByMatt For starters just because someone didn't memorize their Economics book doesn't mean all of their points are invalid. Michael Moore was trying to make a point about how people are traded like commodities. It was a valid point to make considering how many jobs the US has lost to forigen markets in the last decade! There will always be a cheaper place to make goods but what's the point if the majority of the population can't afford them because they make pennies?

  • @FitnessByMatt Any idea who's theory: paying your workers enough so they are able to purchase your goods can be attributed to?

    Henry Ford

Only one of the biggest capitalists in American history.

He was not nailed to one theory and that allowed him to realize that it is better economically when everyone does well because then there are more people to purchase goods.

The death of the middle class will be the death of the USA as a superpower.

  • best doc. ever.

  • i hate him

  • Michael Moore - that flubber white trash from Flint - totally bruised the ass of the failed American capitalist dream. He was right - he saw what was going down and sadly, everything has come true and fucking how.

Farewell Detroit. Your earth is too poisoned for farming now but maybe they'll make a theme park there to show where it all went wrong.

  • One of the BEST documentaries I've ever seen! very powerful! very REAL!

    GREAT JOB !

  • I always had a slight suspicion that Michael Moores Documentary's were slightly biased and/or had the truth stretched.

But I still thinks he has some very good points.

  • too bad this shit of a movie is all fake

  • @gopconservative78 How is fake you pussy? Back it up with some facts bitch!

  • @gopconservative78 Michael Moore thinks giving people inefficient jobs is worth paying double for a car. Makes sense. Too bad he doesn't understand simple economics.

  • HA! look how young and skinny he is there mind!!!

  • CAFE regs that were improperly set up excluding trucks, NAFTA and WALMART have watered down all American auto products. The only NASCAR vehicle actually crafted in the USA is a Toyota Camry(nafta), Mobil1 synthetic oil QUIT being true synthetic a few years back(wal mart), CAFE pushed GM 2make unwanted FWD cars '88-present including Cadillac while Lexus, Germans and eventually Japanese made RWD/AWD cars AMERICANS wanted. Marketing/design/accounting at GM is what made them ultimate FAIL after 90's

  • who is ''Roger'' ?

  • @armidons Roger is the first name of the Boss who closed General Motors

  • @armidons your mom

  • @WhiteRussianBC and ? as usual you prove russians are complete idiots !

  • @armidons I'm not actually Russian, but I wouldn't mind taking credit for a country that formed the largest empire since the Romans

  • @WhiteRussianBC

LOL - Stalin was Georgian ! russians are only slaves for their leader, you can see nowadays in Russia, most of russians see and think what Kremlin thinks is good for them !

  • @armidons I didn't say any of those things! I know Stalin was Georgian and I never argued about Russians being slaves (even though they aren't). I just said the Soviet Union was a powerful empire

  • @WhiteRussianBC

    :D:D:D:D powerful ...

yeah! with leaders drunks and fake ass communists !

  • @armidons Yes, the leaders were communists. Does that make the empire less powerful? Stop making terrible arguments!

  • @WhiteRussianBC

    :D:D:D:D powerful ...

yeah! with leaders drunks and fake ass communists !

  • This is the best one from michael moore, alongside bowling for colombine. Great movie maker. dont agree with everything.

  • michael moore makes very entertaining movies. you don't always have to agree w/ him, but he makes very memorable films.

  • I wanna see more of deputy fred.

  • when its all said an done the" i told you so" phrase is gonna sting hard for alot of americans but dont worry wait till 2010 thats when the real fun begins!

  • i'm from flint. it's shit here. it's always interesting to learn more about the history of a city that isn't your own.

  • too bad hes actually not from flint :)

i dont watch moores films for the facts, i watch them for the entertainment

  • He was born and raised in Flint.

  • @Cirvantes123 actually he was born in flint and raised in davidson.

  • First time I've ever heard that argument, where is he from genius?

  • Anyone here ever been to Flint? I have. Went down the wrong street and wound up in a block where every single house on the street was abandoned and boarded up. Grew up outside Detroit and never seen that kinda poverty up close. Now Detroit is starting to look that bad but wont ever take the cake from Flint. I made this trip after fehrenheit 9/11 came out and decided to see for myself what Flint was like. This whole state is in a damn mess its gotten so much worse God help Michigan and Flint.

  • if there is any, noone of this would happen, im not insulting you.. I see your point, and I respect it.. but god isn't there imo..

  • @EMUmonster Flint is still more deadly than Baghdad

  • @EMUmonster Because the cities are run by Negroes......so without Negroes the cities would be better.

  • this trailer is so different from his others

  • LOL idiot people usually only address Mike's weight issue since they're not smart enough to dispute.

  • Exactly, they;re retards.

  • so true

  • @chingonm1 michael moore is like the buddha. they started out skinny, but when they achieved enlightment, they kinda let themselves go.

  • @chingonm1 They just can't dispute the indisputable. So they deflect. Pathetic.

  • I saw this film back in 1989. It was great - funny, poignant, entertaining, sad. Too bad Moore went off the deep end of the Left and started making stuff up.

  • This movie is no more or less than what his others have been.

  • "After All, I made you a star!" This is what I love best about Michael Moore. His ability to rile up the conservative destroyers of America with his smart ass quips. Don't stop!

  • You made no sense at all.

  • I wonder what the state of affairs in Flint, MI NOW?

  • I like Moore's work, though I think much it falls short of its promise, with the exception being Roger and Me, which is by far the greatest thing he's ever done.

  • can you put up that video?

  • ROGER>. not theonly person that micheal has exposed for their trechery ;)

  • To the users VIDEOTIMEMACHINE and TELEVISIONARCHIVES both of which are "all caps" usernames and a little suspect you are probably the same person - I'm giving you a fair warning that your contributions here are wearing thin with repetitive posts and no real substance to your claims. Please stick to the facts and make new points or we'll have to get out the troll buster.

  • Okay the facts are this: GM decided to close all their factories in Flint and move the jobs to Mexico and India for the sole purpose of maximizing their profits. In doing so, they destroyed the economy of a mid-western city, turned it into a ghost town and ruined the lives of tens of thousands of families. In addition, they used their political influence to keep any sort of industry from starting up in Flint; a sort of economic "scorched earth" business plan.

  • Massive auto layoffs in 1982; Autoworld built in 1984. Closed 6 months later. More massive auto layoffs in 1986, etc.

The point of Autoworld was to make Flint a tourist stop to combat the economic decline. Never happened.

    The movie is quite accurate.

  • Prove it? I know you can not but, I would love to hear it.

  • Haha i gotta get a hold of a copy!

  • god, hes so young there

  • Yea, and you will keep standing by it without PMs with what I asked you. Again and again you will make sure your comments are the the top. Very interesting. And ultimately all weak info. No verification, hearsay.

  • Clearly you are some kind of MM apostate, because you haven't PMd me anything and you just keep going on and on.

  • You can PM me the links and info, I'll take a look, I have nothing against that. It's just that most of the stuff I hear against MM is just nonsense,so it's hard to pick out a decent criticism from a pile of crap.

  • There is ONE LINK on that subject with NO REFERENCES. Sorry, you lose in the evidence department. I would like to hear MM defend himself before I believe MM haters who make absolutely no sense most of the time. Otherwise I would probably just take your word. Seriously, I don't care, but the other charges I read are so preposterous that at this point I can't. Meh.

  • Repeating yourself again to stay at the top, okay, I'll play. I don't know about the controversies I know the movie, and I can tell you that MM would likely know every single reporter in Flint because of his job. Good work dominating the comment section with your own propaganda repeatedly. In fact, I'd better go look up the sattelite story for myself now. The way you have talked about these other subjects you have very little cred. What critics report is NOT MM's issue, so be honest.yeah right!

  • Yeah, you're lying about the satellite truck thing, why do you have to come to this comment section and repeat things over and over? Because you want these comments to stay at the top. You're sick.

  • You can't tell me that because I have it on DVD, and I watched it and I didn't think that for ONE SECOND. So that's not a MM issue. That's people conflating things they shouldn't. And Roger Ebert makes mistakes all the time. Your point is that people thought that, but that doesn't cast aspersions on MM, that's just people being dumb. And spin doctors have to keep coming to this video repeating this over and over again for political reasons, it's nonsense.

  • "Watching the movie, you believe the GM workers worked the party for money. " BALONEY. I never thought that, the movie doesn't state that and I'm sorry if your brain works like that, maybe that's because you're a right winger and you can't think? I don't know. That seems to be a trend. I have ALREADY commented on this. You can't just be a statue, that's an actors job. I'm sorry you live in a tiny little world and jump to so many conclusions. I knew they were actors. Stop telling me what I belive

  • I admit that would have been nice to know more backround, but they didn't look like snobs because of editing,. Not only that, but what ticks me off about the MM attackers is you know good and well that those people being themselves is exactly what people say and how they think even to this day, and there's nothing all that wrong with their views. Why so sensitive? Maybe they looked like snobs, not because they were unreasonable, but because you learned something in context, not out of cont...

  • It clearly states that RR went there while he was campaigning, I never got a different impression. MM haters really work hard to create their own reality. It's quite unnecessary. RR was not slandered in any way. In fact it showed him as skillful in making points with people that are not usually his base. MM haters make no sense.

  • He never said they weren't actors, this is one of my fve movies, I have it on dvd. I never thought those statues were anything but actors because they have to be trained to do that and MM didn't misprepresent. He also didn't bash the owner of the property, he only interviewed the guests. He makes no editorial about this except for the statue comment about poor, but working actors are poor. It was just a flippant remark.

  • Notice how he showed the few black models at that event? Trouble was that they had white actors as well playing statues. But Moore never showed them. Moore lies. That was one of many reasons why the man who did the charity event sued Moore. The Actors didn't even live in flint. I believe one black actor sued Moore as well.

  • And again you don't have proof... or evidence.. at all.

An actor is anybody who acts. If I hire a bum off the street to act like a statue, he becomes an actor.

  • Great doc! Moore does a great job making these guys look like the assholes they are.

  • I don't care what Roger Ebert said, Roger Ebert isn't on trial. To quote the movie, "To show they weren't totally insensitive to the plight of others, they hired local people to be human statues at the party." Where does it say unemployed autoworkers? Nowhere. You're just assuming, and you know what happens when you assume...

You lose, troll. Michael Moore is a performance artist, and the point of the scene was to show the rich see the non-rich as objects, or "statues," less than them.

  • You're right. The human statues were hired actors for the charity event. They did a story about this on CNN I believe. And the man did sue Moore and won because he showed it like a rich white man party. It wasn't . It was a charity event. The man who hosted it is a lawyer that works pro bono for the poor. Also, The people being evicted never worked for GM. That is a fact.

  • @mainebay Well they had to be pretty desperate actors to do such a degrading job...

  • @Boo2194 Then you don't get it. The party was not what Moore made it out to be. It was in fact a Charity event. The actors were paid union wages. Both black and white actors. It was degrading if you believed the version Michael Moore showed in his movie. Notice how he only showed black actors at the event. But the fact is that whites did the event as well. It was a charity event for the poor of Flint. Moore didn't tell you that. That's why the man who did it sued Moore and won .

  • Still not seeing any evidence of this... obvious troll is obvious.

  • How do you know they never worked for GM?

Either way, I don't think it matters if they worked for GM or not... the GM plant closure took away many jobs and potential jobs from Flint. Michael Moore is a performance artist with skill at showing absurdity. It is absurd that the CEO of General Motors is making a speech about Christmas being a time of charity and caring for others, yet holds a posh Christmas party while people are being forced from their homes.

  • Because it was found out later then they didn't . And you do know that Michael Moore did in fact interview Roger Smith but left it out of the movie don't you?

  • Found by who? You? Another random guest on CNN who presents no evidence? You can't just spurt bullshit without providing evidence... just ignore this anti-MM slave to corporate America troll.

  • It was the poor of Flint, working at a charity event for the poor. You obviously haven't read the poem I noted, or you'd understand - it is the rich dehumanizing the poor, it doesn't matter if it was at a charity event or not. Rich may try to help the poor, but many still see themselves as above them. The entire scene obviously went over your head...

  • But every viewer watching the movie didn't get that impression. Why did Michael Moore only show black models at the event? Why didn't they show the white models ?

  • Because the population of Flint is predominantly African American, and the population of people below the poverty line is predominantly African American.

  • The ABC truck was stolen, as seen in the news clips in the movie.

Out of work people were hired to be statues, the lawsuit was over one certain character who felt he was portrayed incorrectly. The point of the scene was to show how the rich in Flint only saw the poor as objects, statues. Go read the poem "The Lovers of the Poor" by Gwendolyn Brooks and you should get a better idea of what the scene meant.

  • Remember the part when he shows GM opening a Theme Park after the plants closed? You get the impression that they did this to give new jobs to the employees to worked at GM. That's the impression that Moore gave in the movie. But it wasn't true. The Car Theme Park was opened and closed way before GM even announced the closing of the Flint Plant.

  • The theme park was opened to get Flint some tourist revenue, not to help unemployed workers... Have you even watched the movie?

  • You are incorrect. Massive layoffs in 1982. Autoworld built 1984.

But remember, THERE ARE NO DATES in Roger & Me. It's basically an 80's movie and the editor goes back and forth from early, to middle to late 80's and back again.

  • Excellent post! Thank you so much for that!

  • This is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen... Michael Moore is such a skillful film maker.

  • Warner Bros. gave Michael Moore $3 million for distribution license, a very large amount for a first time filmmaker and unprecedented for a documentary. Part of the distribution deal required Warner Bros. to buy four houses for the families evicted in the film and give away 20,000 tickets to the unemployed workers.

  • Almost but not quite.

Moore had Warner Brothers pay the RENT for those families for 2 years. Not buy them a home. It was a $25,000 marketing fee that Warner Brothers paid. Not enough to buy four homes, that's for sure. Source: Michael Moore's producer representative John Pierson

  • Don't you folks understand the minute you use "ape" or "n........" to describe a black person, 80% of the people recognize you as ignorant, uneducatedand just plain stupid. Please be like most racists in this country and learn to hide the fact that you are a moron by using more acceptable terms. Someone might listen to you then.

  • decendent from. If you have a thumb on your foot then I apologise.

  • and where are you from adolf????

  • racism aye? what would michael moore say?

seriously quit it you stupid basted

  • Didn't Obama just announce that he was going to bulldoze this town? ...

  • the town of flint? if he did that's quite cool.... infact i'd like a request for further bulldozing of shithole towns

  • Obama really did order Flint to be bulldozed: Just google "Obama bulldoze flint"

Fat boy's hero bulldozes his home town. Too funny. :)

  • what about detroit?

  • I aggree, but he didnt let it happen, and we are in reccession, there are going to be some losses along the way, no one government could stop that.

  • Heard about this movie, but this doesn't make me want to see it.

  • HA HA HURF A DURF

  • im from Nova Scotia and Bowling for Calumbine was the first work of his that i seen then Fahrenheit 911 then sicko and i realy enjoy his documentries he does show he cares and wants to inform people

weather he gets rich or not or is rich doesnt bother me many others are rich for less deserving means athletes, musicans Politicians

What is more crimonal a person who doesnt pay their taxes or a government who missmanages tax money? so keep the documentries coming

    thanks Michel Moore

  • We recently watched this in my Economy class. That one guy in the suit reminds me of Cleveland from Family Guy. Anyway it was a great movie, especially towards the end when it shows a family getting evicted while Roger was giving a speech about Christmas.

  • Are you from Flint? I am, and we LOVE Michael Moore in our town. He's our hometown hero doing good in the world. SHAME ON YOU! SHAME ON YOU! I say SHAME to all of your lies! You are no different from the EOP! Not the GOP!, THE EVIL OLD PARTY! SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wave my finger and shout SHAME! Michael Moore looks out for people, that's how we are raised in Flint, MI. Unlike the rest of the world we care! COMMUNITY! PEOPLE OVER PROFITS AND BLUE COLLAR VALUES! SHAME ON YOU! I SHAME YOU!

  • I know! Michael Moore is the best friend America ever had, but what can you expect him being from Flint and all? In Flint, we care about community, not like the rest of you faggots who only care about money! And anyone who disagrees with him or our dear leader should be sent to a camp! We do not want you in America! We are not afraid anymore! SHAME ON YOU MR. BUSH! And mig, Michael Moore is BIASED FOR THE TRUTH! Unlike FIXED NEWS! I'm so tired of people trashing our dear leader and Mr. More!

  • What the hell are you talking about larry? Anyone who doesn't agree with........... "him or our dear leader should be sent to a camp! We do not want you in America!" Wow, I'm surprised that you found the time to throw the "faggot" hat into the ring. As for Flint, I hope it is prospering but i've heard otherwise. Michael Moore selectively addresses the facts. He wouldn't possibly dream up a movie about an auto worker using gm's funding to parlay his job into a better career.

  • First, Mr. Monty, if that's your "real name", we in flint don't take kindly to folks who d not support our dear leader! Just because some plebian like you can afford an evil $250 PC on your welfare salary, doesn't mean you have a right to speak! This is America! We only want to hear from people who support progressive, fair-trade causes like the people of Flint do. SHAME ON YOU! SHAME ON YOU!

PS. Thank you for fucking up the healthcare system, faggot!

    SHAME ON YOU! STOOOOOOGGGGGGGGEE!!!

  • Moore may not be well liked by everyone but he sure has some balls.

  • God bless Michael Moore, the best friend America ever had.......

  • this man is a bi fat stupid white man!!!! he's mentally sick, he's crazy, he's such an idiot!!!

    he hates the United States!!!!

  • Please explain.

Yeah, I know, he might be biased but look at the FACTS he presents.

  • As for Globalization I guess Moore wants to blame Republicans for that. Trouble is that Democrats put most of the Globalization into play . Film Metaphors in a documentary? You do know that the people they showed being evicted in Roger and Me never worked for GM don't you?

  • Beats me. Even if they didn't work for GM we can agree that their eviction had something to do with the closing of the factory, so it doesn't make much of a difference. Oh well, the movie is 20 years old...

  • Why was the charity event done in poor taste? It was for the poor? IF Moore had told the truth about the event he never would have been sued.

  • i am a fna of michael's movies, though there have been a lot of proven innacuracies in most of em. is it the same for roger & me? looking through the comments here, it's possible, but i havebeen able to find next to nothing about anything like that for this movie, though i have heard a lot of rumors, some of them being that he got in a fight during this movie and was put in jail for it, and that mike went on some talkshow because of some factual innacuracy in the movie? is any of it true?

  • From IMDB: "This is the only movie where there has been a successful lawsuit against Michael Moore - filed by former friend Larry Stecco who successfully argued that his portrayal in the movie was not an accurate reflection of his character ... and won. Stecco was interviewed attending a society fund raising ball and was made out to be a high-society rich pig who partied while people where starving outside. He was actually a lawyer who worked pro-bono for the poorer residents of Flint."

  • Michael moore is an opportunist, nothing more. I have worked as an hourly employee at general motors for 21 years and the company has been incredibly generous to me in that time. Mr Moore has made his fortune by presenting straw men and exploiting connived situations

  • Why you like agaisnt him or something?

  • aw, typhon8527, does it hurt your feelings when Mr. Moore makes fun of corporate CEO's? Do you feel bad for them? If you want to defend corporate America for outsourcing hundreds of thousands of American jobs to Mexico and to 3rd world countries, go ahead, but for fuck's sake, get your head examined! Oh and by the way, Mr. Moore was born in Davidson, a suburb of Flint, Michigan.

  • Whats wrong with giving other people jobs. One american worker gets about 40 dollars worth of pay and benefits a chinese worker gets 40 cents. how many chinese or indians can u hire for the price of one american.

  • he wasnt a fat ass back then...

  • Gm needs to make cars cost under $14,000 fully loaded that people can afford and pay off with easy payments in 4 year with tax breaks for buying american cars

ANd not $40,000 cars and trucks

  • Very good movie, much better than controversial "Fahrenheit 9/11". In these days, when General Motors is about to go bancrupt, how many town like be like Flint (even the cities in Mexico)? I hope this crisis will be quickly solved. I hope Obama has a solution. In my humble opinion, this solution is not to give billions of dollars to these companies.

  • The reason why GM lost alot of money is because the CEO's after Roger stopped cutting cost and job and they gave in to the unions. Autoworkers should get paid as much as burger king and walmart workers. Given their quality of work and absenteeism and low moral.

  • The reason GM lost money building them suvs and big gas dranking trucks that no can afford

they going to make a electric car for $40,000 going to be a weast no one can afford it

  • Very very good movie. But a solution to the loss of jobs was that those people could have went to college and got an education therefore giving them a possibility to get a CAREER and not worry about getting laid off.

  • for an auto worker from Flint to have been able to afford a college education in an era in which it costs more then ever is quite a stretch

  • College loans if they existed in those times

  • There are doctors, lawyers, professors who are teaching and practicing their profession across the country. Who paid for their education. In many Universities Ethnic people from china, india and other third world countries have become professionals with low income. I dont know what your excuse is... but they work hard, on top of that they faced discrimination. So College loans or no colege Loans they have beaten you.

  • I am fully aware of that and support the people who are actually trying to make something of their life rather then those who sit around not wanting a job because collecting welfare is easier, I haven't been beaten nor do I see this as a competition because I'm in progress as well.

  • Prophetic.

  • Love em' or hate em' regardless this a great movie.

  • It might be on the roger & me dvd. According to best buy web site it was released on 8/19/2003. So it might be on the dvd, I just ordered it so I will find out.

  • Michael Moore made a follow-up to this called "Pets or Meat: The Return to Flint." i've been looking for this and can't find it. if anyone knows where i can find it i would really appreciate it if they can help me out.

  • haha, "I made you a star"

"You will know their names, and I will make them famous!"

  • I guess im not the first on to say how weird he looks with long hair then?

  • Wow look at how young he looks, lol. A fellow Midwesterner and a true patriot. Moore nails it!

  • GM made a profit of 5 billion dollars that year.

  • toyota makes 17 billion dollars last year by paying workers far less. without the billions of dollars of leagacy cost. Thats why GM sucks the workers are needy. We might as well unionize burger king

  • If his point was to show the huge economic and cultural segregation then he wasn't honest about it. The Party was not what he said it was. The lawyer worked for the poor pro-bono. Why couldn't he find it for real? Instead he shows a charity event and shows it as a party with white rich people.

  • i do like michael moores intensions but his new documentaries are very bias and hes gotten quite annoying at his narrating.

  • Remember how Moore shows Auto World ? Moore gives you the impression that this was how GM kept jobs in Flint by opening up a Theme Park . Trouble is it was opened even before GM announced the plant closing.

  • You see the people being evicted? They never worked for GM ever.

  • When you watch the clip about the ABC Satellite truck being stolen , remember this. It was a lie. The reporter is not even a ABC Reporter. He was a friend of Michael Moores. It never happened.
