I read an article today that says that for 5 years afterwards, the xfactor winner will be bound to their $5mil contract. so it's good if they're not successful because then they still get money. but drew is going to earn way over $5mil in the next 5 years, so in a sense it's good that she got voted off. now she can keep the money she earns instead of xfactor taking 70% of it
