  • Fucking liberals

  • Whoever said kids didn't have a say was wrong

  • @projectunderground39 emphasis on pride. As in gay pride. LOL, madison is noted for its strong gay component by the rest of wisconsin

  • madison?? oh it must be a gay rights thing.

  • @FriendlyGeekClassics get out of here. not everyone in madison is gay. We dont take tyrants lightly.

  • @oshtitan011 well maybe not everyone but i would say at least 50-60 percent. You do know what the city motto of madison is dont you?? " madison wisconsin, a proud city, where the women are women and the men are too".. LOL inbred faggots. at least they are good for a laff.

  • @FriendlyGeekClassics get the hell out of here. Due to your lack of English skills, I think it's safe to assume you are from the south. I am from Madison and I'd suggest your assumptions are extremely incorrect. I hope you change your ignorant beliefs. I'm a heterosexual guy and I don't have these fears that you do. Become educated.

  • Let me grade this atrocity--horrible... F

Did the students make the signs in arts and crafts when other industrialized nations' students were busy studying Calculus and Physics so they can leave us in the dust? Nope, keep the change.

  • @projectunderground39

most of these kids dont know why there even there.

  • @narutocaprirequest2 Did you see that on Fox news? I promise you that statement is not true. The majority of us knew exactly why we were there, which is why we continued to march to the capitol every day for the next six days even though we didn't have any school.

  • @orangestoneleaf

yeah I saw it, and I hope your right.

  • After being sent by their teachers to protest, I wonder how many skipped out to go smoke a doobie.

  • Total apoyo a los manifestantes de Wisconsin. :)

  • Good job obama you just wasted 3 trillion dollars!!

Glenn beck is right about everything!!!

  • The main reason why so many state and local governments are bankrupt, or on the verge of bankruptcy, is the combination of government-run monopolies and government-employee unions. Government-employee unions have vastly more power than do private-sector unions because the entities they work for are typically monopolies. Their days are numbered.

  • The reason were all in this financial mess is because government elected officials are and due take pay offs and business men and unscrupulous companies who left USA for cheap labor and also make unfair trade policies with countries that don’t trade fair with us .Making them richer and richer and depleting our tax base. Unions are 7% per of are work force don’t be fooled that this is the problem. Not making product's in this country is. Unfair trade is. Slave wages is.Go On line Made in USA

  • The gov't of WI collects TRILLIONS in combined tolls income tax, payroll tax, property tax, sales tax, capital gains tax & do they get lotto $ like NY...etc..

They have no obligation to tell the public what they ''EARNED'' in the TRILLIONS..

3rd World Gov'ts can afford cops, schools and roads.

    America can"t? Something aint right.

  • You guys need to calm down!!!! You are so lucky that kids actually care about what's going on.

  • GREAT JOB, KIDS! CANTON, OHIO AFSCME LOCAL 2937 STANDS WITH YOU!

    THANK YOU!

  • @newalm Surely they do more than you, sitting on your computer chair judging children who are standing up for their teachers who every american knows do not make enough money for the duty we lay in their hands. They educate our future minds, and you belittle it. Grow up and set a good example for them, don't sit in the shadows and knock em for doing what you Clearly wont do and thats get off your ass and stand for what you believe in. Sounds like your just jealous they arent cowards and you are

  • @jtjc4life Kids getting out of school to be exploited by teachers. What a crock. The kids would go to tour a land fill and cheer if you told them to. Its just a circus.

  • @badgerfan918 You act like they don't have a mind or opinion of their own. Sheesh maybe some of you Super Liberals need to realize that listening, encouraging and respecting and actually Allowing your teens to think on their own sometimes is positive reinforcement. Telling them everytime they have an opinion that they are being coerced surely is neglecting the very thing that makes us Americans and this is Democracy at work. Its American to stand up for what you believe in not UnAmerican

  • @badgerfan918 EVEN if its doing against popular belief, What their parents think or what any Political Party feels. If you want a society that just murmurs in a corner when they feel injustices are around them, go to China ... To the students .. Good for you

  • @badgerfan918 As a teacher, I am appalled at your view of America's "kids." You have no right to be commenting on this issue, because you are clearly ignorant about American students. It is hard to get these students to care about much besides passing their standardized tests, so don't tell me that my kids would go tour a land fill and cheer- these students are not idiots, but you seem to be. Spend a day in a classroom as a teacher, then comment. Ignorant.

  • @newalm .... Are you Seriously comparing Children in America expressing in a Non-Violent, Purely Ethical, Honest, Strong minded and Hearted way to "Nazi Brownshirts" as you so say? You are Seriously Delusional and need to take that brownshirt off yourself and Support the Youth of today for actually Caring About Their Surroundings and actually giving a crap about the injustices that society Plagues them with. It was in no way, shape or form in any world merited to be compared to Nazis Period

  • @jtjc4life Really, why then were there teachers with the Gov,s picture on a pickit sign depicting him as Hitler. Thats teaching them how professional educaters make a statment? Bull crap. The more of this crap they do just t's off the taxpayers.

  • @badgerfan918 I'm not saying the teachers signs were ethical, I'm talking about the students. Maybe they had the signs because some of the politicians plans were socialistic ideas in their eyes. You brought the topic to a different tangent, I commented on the students not the teachers. The students were not Wrong for doing what they did, Badgering them IS. If you have a problem with the teachers, thats their own fight, don't belittle the students tho with the touring a landfill crap. Grow up

  • UNION YES! I am LOCAL 424 IBEW in Edmonton, Alberta , Canada

  • Oh, I'm sorry @axeman196822, is democracy, having everyone's voice (including the youth of today) heard, and standing up for what the people believe and are willing to rally to defend too much for you?

  • /watch?v=mM1aLJ58EUY

There are some really interesting interviews with workers, young people and other demonstrators in this video. They explain what they think about the situation they are facing, and outline some of the political conclusions that they've drawn from their experiences.

  • Did you expect the new Obama civilian arm to be wearing uniforms?

  • The wisconsin teachers teach 'how to become parasites of society : join a union'.

  • groupthink/10

  • @brew crew ~ First of all, the teachers in this state are far superior than in many others. Secondly they all follow a state curriculum and have little say who gets passed to the next grade. They follow what the community wants. Third what have you ever done to be part of the educational process in your community. I doubt you've ever been to a PTA or PTO meeting have you? How typical of the conservative "right" to push responsibility that provides you no monetary gain off on somebody else!

  • teachers dont do shit these days they just pass everyone along. that why kid with a 4th grade reading level have high school diplomas. NO KID IS LEFT BEHIND. why is it the private sectors job to pay for 80% of your benefits? let me know i really want to know why you think you are not responsible for yourself. i thought that was the very 1st thing we all got taught in school growing up. take responsibility and pay for your own shit.

  • @Brew414Crew You are such an ignorant idiot. Spend a day in a classroom and then open your big idiotic mouth. However, perhaps teachers did fail you, considering your poor grammar, spelling, logic, and critical thinking skills.

  • @heyoshenanigans its funny you democraps cant fight facts. so what do you do. you talk shit about a person.

  • @Brew414Crew It's funny, considering I'm not a democrat. "Swearing is the crutch of the inarticulate," by the way. And I'm not talking "shit," but merely commenting on how you have no facts to back up your statements nor do you have the credibility or experience to even KNOW what you're talking about.

  • well done madison east students! its so awesome to see these kids have such an interest in our government, and aren't afraid to stand up for what they believe in. i only have one question though: how much trouble did the 700 of you get in today at school? lol

  • was this Cairo? ;)

  • What exactly are they protesting ?

  • @ThePenguinProduction Our newly elected governor wants to break the state worker's union and take away their right for collective bargaining in their contracts. It's wrong and it's un-American

  • OMG

  • From a former Flint resident, my ancestors fought hard to bring in the union to protect what little rights they had at GM. This is exactly what would have made them proud. I am proud seeing these "kids" get up and and let the "adults" know how they feel about the crap they are trying to pull.

  • @SunLogic1973 Former Flint resident? You mean its not a boom-town anymore? I wonder why that could be?

  • @underbird It's not a boom-country anymore. It's not a boom-world anymore. If you think the Unions are the problem, and I'm not saying they are perfect, then you are a very gullible conservative.

  • @JymBritton I think collectivism in general is the problem. If questioning that makes me a gullible conservative so be it.

  • @underbird - Snarky is the word that comes to mind. Your response was way too predictable.

  • You know, I'm not even from Wisconsin, I'm not in a Union, watching this video made me want to cry tears of joy to see that people in this country, both children, young adults and adults can stand together for something so strongly and believe in something so right that they would do what is rather unheard of by the popular majority of this country and stand out in the streets and protest for what they believe in

  • @jtjc4life YOU ARE ONE SICK FREAK

  • @SamuelAdams1722 You my friend are the freak, have another Samuel Adams, it may help your clarity.

  • @jtjc4life Really? Watching teachers use their students as pupits so they don't have to pay more for their benifits made you cry tears of JOY? you really need to check your prioreties in life.

  • @Shocknlawl . its students caring about their teachers is what made me happy, maybe if you cared about them you would spell puppets right or benefits or priorities and care for a good eduacation for our children. Bad pay = bad teachers just like bad pay = bad service anywhere else in america

  • @jtjc4life And you don't know how to spell either. E-D-U-C-A-T-I-O-N is the proper way to spell that word. Perhaps you should pursue one. Learn punctuation while you're at it.

  • @jtjc4life what exactly do they believe in??!....A day off??.....they, just like you, have as much collective political prowess as a used dryer sheet...This made me want to cry tears of disgust as these brain-dead students cheered for joy, as their indoctrinators left the classrooms to attend a lose-lose protest. You obviously are clueless to what the bill is about. The fleeing senator scum will return, be arrested, or recalled, the bill will pass, the Gov will balance the budget. Boom, Winning!

  • @jtjc4life ahm. they are not the popular majority. Stop smokin the wacky weed.

  • Union? YES!!!!! I'm so glad to see the students take a stand. The Racketeers will stop at nothing in their final efforts to dismantle and destroy the middle class. Time to start a recall on the Gov. Maybe Wisconsins will learn a lesson from all this and go Green Party or some other alternative other then the 2 Corporate parties. Peace.

  • From MN Local 2829, this is our future! Let these kids be our voice!

  • LOVE seeing those green shirts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm so proud of all of you for taking a stand. You were taught well.

  • From a union member, thank you to every one of you. You don't know how amazing this is to see.

  • thank you

  • EAST HIGH PRIDE

  • Proud to be a purgolder!

  • Good for you all.

  • I am proud of my Alma Mater!
