It's difficult to measure human influence on something as eclectically complex as the atmosphere, so I think y'all need to stop being so arrogant. We haven't been industrialised for very long. Greenhouse gases like carbon trap some radiation, and we do need some heat, but if we cut down too much forest and emit too much carbon into the atmosphere then we'll be in shit. There was a sharp cooling after the 96 peak for two years, then a slight rise for another year and a half and it's been a cooling trend since. Global temps are lower now than at any point since 1994. The CO2 has nothing to do with global temperatures. That fact should have been clear during the heavy cooling trend of the first half of the 20th century when CO2 levels were rising dramatically.

There is also a 50-year low in the solar wind pressure. It has been going through a cooling down period for the last 20 years and yet overall global temperatures are still rising.
