This is why too many kids are underachievers.
The only thing that keeps the kids off the streets is a solid home where the kids feel that they belong. The streets are very appealing, and all the things that come with it, like skipping school, dealing drugs, fighting, are easier than putting up with the boredom of school.
You can't blame the teacher; we try to make learning fun, but only the parents can create the incentive.
Obama's YES WE CAN slogan works only if both parties say "YES I WILL"!
