Jackie has announced she'll be recording a new album during that mysterious 2-month gap in her schedule (April and May). I imagine it will release in late summer or very earily fall.

There were many soldiers overseas who listened to Jackie's music to lift their spirits, and many others who have turned their lives around after hearing Jackie's voice. My barber is a Vietnamese who catches news of Vietnam on his satelite TV. We talked about Jackie Evancho and I was surprised to learn that Vietnam has a talent show called Vietnam Got Talent. So when a little vietnamese girl go up on stage to sing, and sang real well, the judges would say, "oh ! we got a Jackie Evancho". Amazing.

As a long time Canadiens fan, I do remember Guy coming to the team. For the first two seasons I thought they were making him wear his helmet backwards. I thought he had flash moments of brilliance those first couple of seasons and then totally came into his own by season three. Bobby Orr came into the league, like Jackie, and he dominated the other teams by an amazingly well developed adult talent. And like Jackie, he was truly stunning, everytime he stepped onto the ice.

I was just thinking: I'm 65 years old, and have sung since I was 7. I was in a choir during my elementary years, rock bands in my teens, and did musical theater as an adult.
I've had formal training, and pushed my voice to the max. I still have my tonsils, and have had tonsilitis and sore throats throughout my life. I even smoked in my 20s. And except for the fact that my range isn't what it was years ago, I still sing fine. My voice is no more durable than Jackie's. She'll be be fine.

There were many soldiers overseas who listened to Jackie's music to lift their spirits, and many others who have turned their lives around after hearing Jackie's voice. My barber is a Vietnamese who catches news of Vietnam on his satelite TV. We talked about Jackie Evancho and I was surprised to learn that Vietnam has a talent show called Vietnam Got Talent. So when a little vietnamese girl go up on stage to sing, and sang real well, the judges would say, "oh ! we got a Jackie Evancho". Amazing.

@shoa31 Well, unfortunately, no theme songs will be included in the movie according to her mom. No singing in the movie. Sure would be great if she could, perhaps, sing at the end, but that's when people start walking out. Lots of comments about that at her offical site. RR saw her on the 2011 finale &called the E's (still not clear if he talked directly to her, but it was Redford who called), but she was excited about it. Suggest you follow her on Twitter. Obama twice qualify as being Internationally recognized? Or perhaps Ukrania? JE was recently presented with a bouqet of flowers by Ukranian children at a recent performance. As a long time Canadiens fan, I do remember Guy coming to the team. For the first two seasons I thought they were making him wear his helmet backwards. I thought he had flash moments of brilliance those first couple of seasons and then totally came into his own by season three. Bobby Orr came into the league, like Jackie, and he dominated the other teams by an amazingly well developed adult talent. And like Jackie, he was truly stunning, everytime he stepped onto the ice.

You folks out there who somehow think that Jackie is going to ruin her voice because she's sung arias at a young age need to quit just repeating what someone else has told you & LOOK at some FACTS. The truth is there's NO evidence to support such claims - & plenty of examples to COUNTER them. Consider Anna Maria Alberghetti - who performed such works from AGE 6 & went on to a great career on stage & screen (winning 2 Tonys) Here she is in her mid-20s' (watch?v=_bX-anuFoY4).

I was just thinking: I'm 65 years old, and have sung since I was 7. I was in a choir during my elementary years, rock bands in my teens, and did musical theater as an adult.
I've had formal training, and pushed my voice to the max. I still have my tonsils, and have had tonsilitis and sore throats throughout my life. I even smoked in my 20s. And except for the fact that my range isn't what it was years ago, I still sing fine. My voice is no more durable than Jackie's. She'll be be fine.
