This video came out dope, I was there when they filmed it and a little peice of my Phantasm wall came out at the beginning too!! Shout out to JC Yurnett who was on set and also filmed a few vids for me as well, Peace to 5ptz.com and the Hip hop museum!
So glad you all liked the video. My husband Harlan played the conductor, and I am so proud of him. He was very honored to participate in this wonderful project.
@pycmonk3 - exactly! That's why I am forwarding this video to everyone I know. The more people that view this video the better. For Hip Hop heads and non Hip Hop heads. This video shines a positive light on what the culture is about. I could see this video playing in Times Square even. IMAGINE! That would be HOT!
@ssweetlady82--Word that would be off da hook fo sho! I'm sharing it with all my peeps too--hip-hop need more folks like us and we all need to UNIFY behind this movement!!
@ssweetlady82 --see I think that's why the the organization that did this video is doing the donate dollar thing; I read on their website that they're trying to like galvanize the hip-hop fans all over the world for this museum cuz the rappers and government wont care until the fans get behind it--they got my support 100% We shoulda BEEN had a museum for hip-hop already!! lol
Dope video...artistic portrayal of hip-hop as a bona-fide art...one question, why the hell haven't any of these gazillion dollar rappers put any money up for this project?!?!?!? WTF?!??
Amazing video! Hip Hop has never been shown like this before to the masses and it needs to be. People must understand that this museum is a true Movement that is way past due. Share this link with everyone you know and show support! I'm in the video so you know it's already on my facebook wall! I'm psyched! xoxo, DJ Lovelee ;-)

Very interesting and a must Do.. For the preservation. Hope we as a Culture can come together and make it happen for the origins of Hip Hop's sake"

Totally on point. Looking forward to the day when all can truly understand that what's out there now isn't worth it.

@pycmonk3 - and this is the million dollar question. Where are these rappers who make a living off Hip Hop? Don't they want a museum?!?!

They Do want a Museum, but it took them until Now to realize it.
After they Woke up and found themselves living within the most prolific Culture in the History of Mankind,
After they watched Eazy E, Jay, ODB and Guru go down without a Cause,
and our Leaders without a Siren.
Finally, they lift their Helms when Kool Herc is in Need.
It took the televised Sickness of one of our Fathers to open their Eyes to Poverty and Injustice, and the need to Unite.
