The overall design was great, but I think the location of the spout was a little short: the cups didn't always fill up properly. Maybe if there had been about another 4 inches or so, it would have poured into the cup when it's rim was parallel to the ground and made a much less spastic turning motion.
Bamboo is truly an awesome material to work with and you perfectly captured that fact in your video. Pretty much anything you can dream-up, you can probably use Bamboo to make it or make it better. This is very inspiring! BRAVO!!!
I want to get a better look at the gearing. It looks like the end of the bamboo was split, then the sections spread and fixed. I'd bet the other side of the pair was done similarly. Very clever, I like it.
