  • brilliant! well done young man. You can see that he understands that a high elbow and using his wrists to smother the ball to keep it down, i can't get some of my u13's to do this!! No doubt this lad will be an extremely good cricketer!

  • hes good but please put him in a helmet i once didn't were a helmet and copped a ball to the face and its very painful

  • Haha, pretty cute :)

  • cant help thinking that bat is too big for him...oh well :P

  • what a turner !!!

  • what a hack

  • You can't judge from a 6 year old, there may be a flaw in his technique only exploited when he is older

  • so he plans to play cricket for the wallabies?

  • music sucks

  • @ryan31907 firstly its not if he is spinning it more than you ever will and batting better than you can dream and secondly his six

  • Young Little Cricketer 6

search this you will forget this

  • Comment removed

  • hasn't got the foot work

  • @MrEssendon920 that will come with development and age

  • If he likes cricket why is he wearing a rugby jersey to CRICKET training?

  • this is what you get when you put Ricky Ponting and Shane Warne's together :)

  • I wish he was playing for us( India) this summer....Seriously

  • @ryan31907 not as mediocre as your shitty trolling.

  • superb control for bowling !!!

  • I LOVED HIS BOWLING

  • @ranamoeezhassan I LOVED HIS BATTING TOO! Srsly, pretty quick on that front foot even knowing where it would pitch.

  • arent stumps too big

  • good

  • He drives well

  • ahaa love bowling with the bowling machine balls because they absolutely RAGGGG :P

  • He will be a bowling alrounder.Good control over line.

  • He doesn't seem to be so good at batting. But he is a real bowlingprodigy. Coach him nicely on his bowling.

  • any gets an outside edge on those leggies and OWZAT!!!!!!

  • Bowls leggies better than Cameron White and Steve Smith combined. Not hard though.

  • Won't be that good. He's australian...

  • What a shot! (0.18) magnificent that should be a 12 and that is a 12!

  • put some more videos all of allround please this kids awesome :)

  • should retire the willow and focus on the leg breaks, bit of potential there for a young buck

  • he is awsome he uses his front foot really well and a great leg spinner x

  • great player

  • awesome, keep it up aussie

  • wat a talented child

  • Holy crap

  • he is an amazing leg spinner and batter you must be really proud :)

  • Haha, his face expressions while hitting are priceless :D

Great talent! Thumbs up, from Pakistan!

  • Absolute brill for a 6 year old kid he has a brilliant batting techniques looks like he has a bright future

  • hey great batting for a young kid

    - whats the name of the song?

  • your kids awesome man, just loves hitting a ball around.. that's what it's all about!

  • he should wear a helmet

  • great bowling!

  • mayt this guy's gonna be the next steve smith. only better at batting too. ;D Keep it up champ

  • Great technique! He always watches the ball after he has hit it which is very useful

  • Great kid.

  • @craigalake And by the way, a 6 year old showing off his rather lame cricketing skills in this video is indeed the truth, and I see you are clearly upset, trying to offend me but meanwhile being modest. Not happening.

    Bye!

  • @WhatElseExceptNature

Sorry, what are you talking about? How am I trying to offend you? If it's the video you find offensive flag it as offensive and be gone with you!

  • Stupid video. Show me real skills, like when he is 16 or 18 or 20 or 22 adn so on. Not a little 6 year old playing balls at 20 km/h and no spin at all. That so called leg spin has the same ball repeating like 5 times - basically. No variation. Another 6 year old playing him would smash that out of the work.

Idiotic, pointless video. Sorry to be critical, but just saying the truth.

  • better technique than most of the Aussie batters/

  • i said compared to this 4 year he is nothing

  • man he is nothing watch this " young Little Cricketer 3" video that is called raw talent, little champion or prodigy plays every shot in the book and much more with utmost ease and proficency Aussies watchout a new TENDULKAR in the making but do not forget the old one is stil going strong

  • @chalojoiye How can you say he is nothing, HE'S 6 YEARS OLD!

  • everyone should calm the fuck down about his bat lift and technique the kid is 6 years old and a little gun, good on him. Let him have some fun, wish i could bowl leggies like that at 6. good work mate

  • awsome legspinner

  • He bowls better when he is closer to the stumps, otherwise it goes too far down the offside. But great talent for a kid that young

  • I love this guy!!!!!

  • sign him up

  • wow !! he could be the next shane warne

  • the kids good !! good luck to him in the future !

  • far better bowler than batsmen, great action. batting is all over the place but he has a brilliant eye for it so just needs to sort technique out and he'll be great! him versus my 7 year old brother (we're english) in the ashes in 15 years or so! ;)

  • lol every parent thinks their child is a prodigy. God they need to stop.

  • Much more impressed with the bowling than batting. The accuracy will come with age and so will the strength to turn those pretty shots into boundaries. Best of luck.

  • Nice footwork ....at 6......keep going young man.

  • he loves to come down the pitch doesn't he! :)

  • it is dunking shite

  • I watched the batting and was thinking very good, but not jaw dropping.

But the bowling! It's a little shane warne! At that age, to extract so much spin and perfect spin technique is amazing.

  • he looks really talented he's a better spiner then me and im 18 i think 1 day he could play 4 australia if he keeps inproving

  • very good

  • He's quite good acutally...best to him...

  • Nice loft and spin on those leg breaks. Looks like a little Warney. :-)

  • if this isnt a midget who has been playing cricket for a while then he is good :L

  • lol he looks like combo of pointing and warne to me

  • he isnt tht good

  • @Jamezpazza yhh true jammees!! x

  • He should try bowling from around the wicket. But very good, nonetheless!

  • not looking forward to playing australia in ashes in bout 15 year haha

  • 12 Years from now Australia will be unbeatable if they have such talent in the rafters!

  • he looks like he can't hold the bat up for more than 2 seconds... :L :L i like that bat tho, the iridium

  • Haha! He bowls like a little Warney!

  • VERY NICE BOWLING. i cant even do that. lol. great job.

  • i hate to go on about health and safety but shouldn't he be wearing a helmet XD

  • @penguinatoring

You are right, and if you watch the next vid he has a helmet. After we got the helmet he top edged one straight up which hit the cross pole above him. It came straight back down off the pole onto his head. Luckily he was wearing his new helmet. (actually he even slept with it on for the first week or so) :)

  • @penguinatoring he is Aussie mate, we breed em tough

  • If he was in england he would .. or else there would be health and safety arounf there house in a flash and social services ! :P

  • @penguinatoring its only underarm throws cant u tell?.....dont you think over arm throw would produce more bounce therefore the need for helmet? we need 2 understand possibility for risk before asking for helmet....can u b sure it is a hard ball? i cant...

  • aww dont say that dont get him playing 4 australia thats my dream*says wid smile on face*

  • dont get him playing 4 australia thats my dream ahahahahaahahah lol

  • nah sorry ur right but this 1 is just better but i have to agree great leggys anywyaz is diss guy aussie

  • @Thomaso981

    Cheers,

    Yeah he's aussie.

  • imi really sorry i disagree with you this vidio is much better anywyas ...is this kid australian

  • good cricketer he needs some work but i like this vidio better then the other 1 the improved 1 u say ,,,i think this is more inproved then da other 1

  • @Thomaso981

Thanks, but I disagree. What do you think is better in this vid? His bat lift is wrong in this vid (towards leg stump not off) his footwork is not organized properly and his bat is not particularly straight when driving either. The shots in the second video are technically far better and are the results of advice from two former 1st class batsmen.

  • @craigalake as good as he is, 6 years old is too young to drill technique into a kid like that.

  • Excellent!!! I was really surprised..the batting technique was very advanced for a 6 year old but i was blown away by his little leggie's...the front foot driving is clearly his best shot from what i saw and nice turn on his deliveries...a lot of grown adults who i play club cricket with could learn a thing or two from this little chap...thanks for the upload

  • Talented kid especially the bowling.

  • If you upbring him well...he will be definitely a master blaster..:)

  • he spins it more than me aha

  • future warnie

  • haha he looks like a person in my class thats good at cricket

  • he loves to dance down the pitch. . .

  • dude remember 2 wear a helmet.

    nice skills anyway.

  • the next Ricky Ponting

  • Ricky Ponting could never get that flight or turn :p haha

  • I think he can.

  • Super Skill

  • omg his 6 and his got the technique of a 13 yr old far out

  • looks 2 hav a big future. i no his only 6 but some1 shud teach him how to ball a flipper and a wrongun.

  • flipper is a bit hard matey, just go for the basic three and he could one day play for his country. - leggie, wrong'un, toppie, then the slider and once that shits done go for flipper

  • how old exactly is he now

  • what is his name

  • Thats right put the ball up there above my eyes, let me charge get to it on the ful... shit bowler but alright batsmen

  • dude the kid is 6.....

to have that much control of the ball at that age is something else

  • hes six ffs he aint gonna be like shane warne now is he

  • lol my brother can do those shots!!! AND he can do better... ANYWAYS awesome vid tho. You aussies got talent, but us kiwis will own u.....

  • hahahah doubt it

  • look at the second ball drift and spin. would have cleaned me up

  • ummm im 24....and have been "playing" cricket with my siblings/cousins/friends for about 10 years and this kid is def light years ahead of me.

    keep it up man!

  • im 9 yrs old, and he is a great player, and love his cover drives!!!, i play like him and my lil bro does (which is 7 years old :O)

That kid should of came down the track when he plays shots, its more easier to play it down the ground

  • BIG HEADED

  • this kids great, keep it up

  • awesome job coaching him mate...

  • he needs a smaller bat he cant control it properly nice song and keep up the good work

  • very nice mate good work

but instead of charging everything try taking a full stride towards the ball

    keep it up man

  • Wow! for such a young age he has got fantastic cover drives :D

  • his drives are impressive when i was like that i could only hook and cut

  • fuck off man hes like 8 and your a prick i bet you couldnt do better hes the next australian opener and your the next most time spent wanking world record

  • Not an opener, and not the next, still has a good decade and a bit to go haha. I'm definitely keeping his name in mind though, a kid so young bowling Leg spin and driving like a specialist batsman is amazing. I'd have him as a number three or 4, give him chance to spread his wings a bit, Australia needs kids like this, keep the sport alive and well. He is definitely going places.

  • y does he charge everything?

  • he moves his feet better than most club cricketers, lay iff him idiot.

  • he is sooo good keep it up mate!... i agree with souljaboy11109 if you take middle, your feet are inline with the line on middle, if you get it?? lol

  • If you take guard on middle, your bat is in line with middle stump and then your legs must be outside leg. If your feet were in line with middle you would be taking a guard outside off.

  • i could flog those leggies for six lol jks jks , hes a champ. good on him

  • he needs to keep his feet at middle not outside leg i know this cause i always used to get out like that but... hes a great cricketer

  • Sorry, I don't follow. If you take guard on middle or middle & leg how can your feet be on middle?

  • bowling is amazin

  • Keep it up mate. batting very good and improved since last video.

  • hes got just the bat to suit him. its good at defence and big shots.

  • i love his expressions lol

  • nice batting super spin bowling you could get tendulkar bamboozled in couple of minutes and nice leg spinners spinning away beautifully .superrrrr.keep the tempo going mate.keep it up.:)

  • Good work, keep working hard with him whenever you have the time and i sure it will pay of one day, hopefully. ;)

  • y r they all throw downs???

  • Because I'm 6'3" and I get steep bounce whilst he is 4'1" and even at less than half pace that is too dangerous. I don't want to make him scared of a cricket ball. We use a soft cricket ball when I bowl properly.

  • that is really imprssive,,, the next tendulkar

  • this kid must be a natural sport player because hes batting whille having a wallabies jersey on

  • like me lol. i have a jersey like that and i play cricket :)

  • just some advice not an insult just get him to bowl outside leg stump because he is gettin spin on it so i think he bamboozle the batsmen every ball when he plays for his country keep up the good work buddy

  • tell him the one handed cover drive at 0:35 was awesome

  • seriously, how did you get your kid to play so well at such a young age?

  • He's just crazy about cricket and wants to hit balls all the time. Recently he's been hitting a ping pong ball with a stump against a wall (like Bradman with a golf ball). The hardest thing was getting him to keep his head over the ball, eyes on the ball and bat straight. Now we're correcting his bat lift which is towards leg stump but should point towards Slips.

  • those wristy leg side flicks were awesome...

and pretty good leg spinners too dude...

dont tell me another aussie dude's going to torment bowlers in the future

  • awesome for his age, but what ive noticed with his batting is that he rushes the ball alot :P

  • Probably because his legs are so short, he can't get to the pitch yet haha

  • ye lol

  • is there a next shane warne in the making?? i suppose this one should get captaincy though!! :P

  • if thts how much he can spin on concrete imagine how he can spin on the pitch!

  • wow these days 6 years old prolly play starighter than international players

  • awesome batsmen but he never hit the wickets once but you cud still see the spin awesome dude

  • The only problem with this kid is that he's going to play for australia and not england.

  • good point

  • Hmm, what's he up to this sunday? We could do with some batting!!

  • Being able to bowl leg spin on the pitch is difficult..but at 6..i learned at the age of 12 and still havent perfeted the length.

Also i want to see him when hes oldr using a hard ball

  • 0:18-0:20 is the best shot !!!! good going kid

  • nice work mate, as the father the best thing you can do is exactly what your doing. well done! kepp up the encouragement ! and the good work!

  • Please don't tell me you were using a hard ball when this lad was batting without a helmet... All it takes is a wierd bounce or an edge into the face to injure him.

  • They're gentle throwdowns from about 7-8 metres and the ball is a lighter junior ball. I don't think he's in any danger. If I was bowling I'd agree.

  • the kid is good, he is a natural, leg spinning is the hardest form of bowling, he is looking really good . to improve his hand/eye cordination use the tennis based swing ball game. and like you mentioned your son and my nephew might one day be competing for the ashes.

  • at least give him a helmet when hes batting. poor lad

  • he puts more spin and turn than the spinners i face lol since when he was 5 his batting has improved well!

  • i would love to see him bowling around the wicket.... it would be perfect to see the ball turning and disturbing the furniture.... Please post such a video... i'm a legspinner myself and at this age i cant believe he is doing such a FANTASTIC job.... great stuff mate... all support from India...

  • let hope he's got an english grandparent haha we need all spinners we can get!!!

  • Just an Irish great grandma, sorry {;p} I've got a feeling he wouldn't be too happy about playing for England anyway. He cried once when Ponting got out!

  • The only problem I see in his bowling is he needs to get his front aiming arm nice and high to increase accuracy, it looks like he needs to get his bowling arm brushing past his ear aswell, It seems to be causing innacuracies, apart from that, he is brilliant.

  • Thanks. In legspin bowling you don't bring your bowling arm past your ear, your arm needs to be a bit lower than that. Watch Warnies arm position. It does make it a bit harder to put it on the spot but you won't get turn and drift otherwise.

  • When I was a bit older than his age I started off with my arm going past my ear for accuracy, later on I made my arm lower to create more turn and drift. That way he can be more accurate and get turn and drift.

Unluckily for England I have no plans on becoming a cricketer. :3

  • hes a better spinner than the ones i faced when i played county U15s.

just dont let him get complacent about his obvious talent, cos i wanna see him play over here in the ashes

  • Why does that look like suburban Perth to me thats great turn on a flat deck can he bowl a zooter or a wrong un

  • Because it is. Good thing he can turn it on a flat deck because if he gets into the warriors and plays at the WACA he will need to turn it on a flat deck. No variations until he grows a bit. Don't want to stuff up his wrist.

  • btw, love the square cut and lofted straight drive!

    straight from the text book!

  • @syedbasit777 hes good but hes a bit loose
