Hi Scott and thanks for putting up the best YT channel about vaping. I just bought the evo not for me actually because I’m really happy with my current vaping device but for a relative. My problem is the same with the one posted earlier. After a few puffs there is liquid into the mouth. Did you have this issue with evo? Since this is the only e cig my relative can stand is there any way I can stop this?

Man, I have had nothing but problems with my evo ecig, it seems to constantly leak, I'm guessing it must be user error, but I clean everything, pop a new cart in, clean out the atomiser and within 10 - 20 puffs I'm sucking liquid into my mouth. Seriously, it's such a ball ache constantly drying out the inside of the cart, it has pretty much put me off. I did meet a guy who suggested I swap over to the Tornado. Does anyone else have issues with leaking?

After today I feel like your my best mate, I must have watched about 4 hours of your videos!! I ordered a Tornado tank, and the kit to make my own juice. I really like e-cigs, I have had my black mighty atom for about a month, the only problem is I'm going to have to keep using it for a while because I got a bit over excited at the start and bought 150 carts. I also had to buy 2 new atomisers today because 1 of them broke, and the other fell out of my car window.

a cartomiser is a cartridge and atomiser built in to one unit rather than being 2 separate parts. cartomisers are also disposable........once it runs out of e-liquid then you throw the whole thing away.

I got my Evo last week. After three days of happy use I ordered two vials of 50/50 gycol/veggie oil, one was clove and the other was Bavarian chocolate. I tried the clove first and loved it. The smoke was thick and tasted just like cloves. After smoking the cloves all night I could not wait to try the chocolate. I took one hit and after that no more smoke. I tried the back up vaporizer and got the same result. Is there anyway that I can deep clean the vaporizers to get them to work again?

seems a bit odd that both atomisers have failed at the same time. are you sure that you have not just activated the 2 minute shut down? with the EVO, if you take an inhale that is longer than 5 seconds then it will shut down for 2 minutes (to protect the atomiser from over heating)

contact intellicig, im sure they would replace :)

Positive that it is not the two minute shut down. I read the instructions before I ever used it and still ran into that problem on the very first day. Since they both went out, (I keep hoping that they will magically come to life), I've tried long slow drags and shot hot box style drags but to no avail. For a little while I would get one hit but only after a very though cleaning. The problem did not start till I used the Belgian Chocolate. What would happen if I soaked them in rubbing alcohol?

personally, i find that cleaning atomisers with alcohol, boiling water etc has very little effect. all i do is drain them every now and again like in the vid.

is the led on your battery lighting up properly when you inhale? and does the atomiser get warm or remain cold after taking 10 inhales?

Yes the led does light normally, so the battery is charged and the pressure sensor does work but that does not cover a short in the atomizer nor the possibility that the vaporizer is fouled. I did notice that when it fist happened the part of the cartridge that slips onto the vaporizer was warm to the touch, but now even that does not happen.

if the battery is charged, the led lights up but the atomiser remains cold then the atomiser is definitely the problem. cleaning wont help in this situation unfortunately :(

if you have only had it a while then contact intellicig and let them know. im sure they would be happy to help and if they agree that the atomisers are dead then im sure they would replace it for you.

It's OK. As of right now these vaporizers are nothing more than experimental subjects. I placed an order with Intellicig USA for two more vaporizers. I'll just chalk it up as a $35 education and make sure that I do not over fill in the future. Although I did as the instructions that came with the Evo said and filled the cup only a quarter full, I'll also discard the Chocolate oil. Again thank you for your videos and help. I sent this vid to a friend who is interested in the Evo.

Well I've had my Evo for a month and found out that none of the atties were bad. I figured out that the flavored e-juice I bought was the problem and bought a bottle of ECOpure Rich to cut the flavored e-juice. Once I got the mix wrong and the newest atty stopped vapping, I dropped some ECOpure on the wick and it came back to life. I tried the same thing on the three "dead" atties and they all started to kick out nice vapor. Hope I did not scare anyone off with my problem because I love my Evo.

i mean ofcourse they are not as strong as some products out there but they are reliable. ill say this, their cartridges suck ass and even refillig them sucks ass, but all i do is drip ad dip and if you look at a blu atomizer u can see they are meant to drip and dip and not to use with cartridges with such an erected wick. anyways most people that talk crap about the blu are usually people who use carts or people who are bitter about shipping time.

they create vapour from vapourising liquid nicotine.

they dont have any lingering smells...........except for some of the cigar flavoured e-liquids. remember, there is no flame or burning involved so you will smell as fresh as a daisy when you leave your sisters house!

dont worry about CNN. they found 1 small trace of one dodgy chemical in 1 cart! and if the same amount had been found in a childs chocolate bar they would not have batted an eyelid! its scare tactics mate because they know it will affect taxes on cigarette sales.

Hey Scott,

There's something that you might want to point out to users who recharge their EVO with the USB charger. If you repeatedly crank down too hard on the battery as you screw it into the USB charger you can actually push the small, metallic ring with the gasket around it in the battery's end down into the well that it sits in. If this happens the battery will not properly contact with the atomizer and the EVO will not work. You can permanently break your battery this way.

Hi, igethcha, just used my first juice since I started vaping and knew I needed a refresher course how to do it. Used some cherry and peach in my Evos and some coffee in my Vapor King. Wow! Better throat hit even at 6mg than with the higher miligram cartridges. Thanks for the refresher course.

hi mate,

it sounds like your atomiser needs to be drained if the drag is becoming heavy. this video will show you how to top up or refill your carts but the atomiser is different. if you at my channel i have also done a user guide vid on the DSE901 which has a very similar atomiser to your Npro. watch that one to see how to drain and maintain your atomiser.

if you have the old style small inner cart then remove wool and add 6 drops. replace wool carefully and then add 1 or 2 more drops.

if you have the newer larger inner cart then remove wool and add 8 drops. replace wool carefully and then add 1 or 2 more drops.

e-cigs will 100% relieve you of any nicotine cravings and genuinely make you feel as though you are still smoking. they really are an excellant smoking alternative.

the "rush" though is not really caused from nicotine alone as its a combination of nicotine and the 1000's of deadly chemicals found in cigarettes.

so yes, you do get that satisfaction buzz of getting your nicotine fix but you dont really get "light headed" as such.

How many carts in the new evo can a bottle of e-juice last

well i think there is roughly 0.5ml to a cart and 1 EVO cart holds around 8 drops of juice. therefore in theory 1ml equals 16 drops. 16 multiplied by 30 is 480.

so roughly, a 30ml bottle of juice would have around 480 drops of juice.

so 480 divided 8 is 60. therefore one 30ml bottle should be enough to refill around 60 EVO carts.

i need a rest now after that! lol

scott, I have mini fogger with same atomizer, anyway I fill my cartage about 8 drops, but when I smoke after one minute the tast is just like plastic. I could not feel the liqued.

hi mate,

ive never tried a mini fogger so im really not too sure as to why it would taste like plastic. the only time i get a plastic taste would be if a. the atomiser is too dry or b. if the wool in the cart is in contact with the steel wick of the atomiser.

try adding a drop or 2 of juice directly to the atomiser and make sure that the wool in the cart is not over hanging. it should be flush with the top of the cart or about 1mm below. hope that helps, if not then contact janty. cheers

it really depends on the size of the bottle and how much you vape each day. but what i can tell you is that a bottle of juice will last you a looooong time when compared to buying cartridges. roughly 2 single drops of juice equals 1 real cigarette. i still have several bottles of juice that i use fairly often but actually purchased them over 2 months ago!

hey Scott, i have one question, when dripping, about how many drags(puffs) will you get before the atomizer dries again?

i would estimate that 2 drops will give you the equivelant of 1 regular cigarette......so about 15 - 20 puffs. dont add more than 2 drops at a time or you will end up flooding the atomiser which would then need to be drained. dripping is slightly more hassle than just using a cart but the taste, throat hit and vapour is better.
