@mariosunshinefaan When your Gimp window is up, look at the toolbar on the top. Click windows > Dockable Dialogs > Layers. Or you can just press Ctrl+L

I've got a question: I can't use the colorize tool or anything like that. I didn't start having the problems until I downloaded some brushes.  Do you have any other way to color it? Please and thank you.

I'm not sure if you would get the same result but you could make a new layer get the bucket fill tool and fill the layer with whatever color you want then set the layer mode to color

You can also color balance the image, colors>colorize or run a gradient map. colors>map>gradient map
