wow that's the exact method I thought of in my head... maybe I'm a natural trainer. Only, my dog is a miniature poodle and likes that type of stuff. She is chocolate with green eyes and a red nose... pple say she looks like a little cute bear because she's still fluffy. Poodles are smart!

On the other hand, you can try and nourish the instinct to bark. Try and see what stimulates him. What makes his alart.

yea you gota give them alot of positive body language i find.i dont give me puppy treats every trick because they phase out eventually an not need treats.. you probably dont want to let other people give it treats for nothing either a treat isnt supose to be given every single time they do something good, but its there to push them in the right direction

I would try using a clicker to mark the behaviour you want from the dog. They learn very quickly with a clicker, because it's clear to them what behaviour you want.

She looks like she knows what she's doing because she's succesful with the tracks. If you think your dogs gets fat from treats, you don't understand that after a while, you don't NEED threats anymore to make the dogs do the tricks. So first of all, they're not gonna get fat. Second, if you think you can do it better make your own vids.

WOW!! is all I can say! I tried and tried and after about 20 minutes my dog actually DID IT, not to mention he's a quick learner, for I had never tried this trick before, you guys are really helpful, thanks a lot! Now all I have to do is teach my dog to do it when I'm not on his level but when I'm standing straight up!
OMG.. I was watching this and trying and trying and trying to do this with my Yorkie. She DID NOT, I repeat, DID NOT do this. When I brought the treat over towards her back, she sat down!!
Who cares about his weewee, it's a dog, it's natural, and actually it does work. I've tried it on my Chihuahua, and he's learned a lot of these tricks, just because I followed her instructions. If your dog can't seem to do it the first time, try again. Some dogs take a little more time, if you just give up, you must not have a good relationship with your dog. -_-

She looks like she knows what she's doing because she's succesful with the tracks. If you think your dogs gets fat from treats, you don't understand that after a while, you don't NEED threats anymore to make the dogs do the tricks. So first of all, they're not gonna get fat. Second, if you think you can do it better make your own vids.

WOW!! is all I can say! I tried and tried and after about 20 minutes my dog actually DID IT, not to mention he's a quick learner, for I had never tried this trick before, you guys are really helpful, thanks a lot! Now all I have to do is teach my dog to do it when I'm not on his level but when I'm standing straight up!

Who cares about his weewee, it's a dog, it's natural, and actually it does work. I've tried it on my Chihuahua, and he's learned a lot of these tricks, just because I followed her instructions. If your dog can't seem to do it the first time, try again. Some dogs take a little more time, if you just give up, you must not have a good relationship with your dog. -_-
