This movie was made in Deer Lodge Montana where I live. They used the Old Montana state prison. The first part of the movie where he drives into town shows downtown Deer Lodge. Check the credits at the very end it says filmed in Deer Lodge and Butte Montana. The end where his brother wrecks is 2 blocks from where we live. Great movie.
