Uh, dude, I have this game. It pwnz. It's just Sonic fans are stuck with the old stuff: run like mad, lose a few rings, die in water, take forever trying to beat the final boss with no save points. It's time to move ON! They just won't accept that Sonic is going into the third demension. Period. Even Sonic has to take it slow SOMEtimes. I like these new games. Alot.

It's not that we don't accept Sonic in the third dimension, it's just that these are all games that have been done much better, the controls are crappy and not intuitive, the game is boring, and it's just not something that Sonic is. Look at his name...Speed of sound.

yes i dont think this is anything compared to unleashed, but if there's and unleashed 2, i wanna throw in one idea: Remember the classic versions, when we were able to go SUPER SONIC!! If super sonic left the screen then i wonder what'll happen if they place him in unleashed somehow, with maybe a lil multiplayer.

Regardless of who does it, if a game is bad, it'll be bad whether you suck or not. Of course if you suck you'll hate it more, but still. :P I don't like how it looks like my arm will fall off. Gamecube controller would be nice.

No. If your playing the game right then you should only stop fully in 4 situations

1. A giant-one is in your way

2. A wall is in your way

3.There is a flying obstacle of death that you have to stop and time your jumps to get across.

4. Your playing as Knuckles

Unless one or more of these things is present, you can mow down wave after wave of enemies while maintaining your speed at maximum.

But your right, it's an opinion.

Guys, it's because this game just isn't Sonic. I like Sonic, but there's been a lot of crappy Sonic games. Unleashed was pretty fun. The daylight stages were EXACTLY what Sonic should be, not a heavy brawler in a waggle fest. I mean, everything about the game is great except the gameplay and controls itself sucks. Sonic's not about slowly brawling with a sword, he's always been about going at the speed of light going on speed pads, homing attacks, corkscrews, and loops...It's just not Sonic.

Yes, Mario does different things, but the controls are always top notch, and he always stays tried and true to his platforming roots...Unlike Sonic, who seems to have an identity crisis. Please Sega, stop using gimmicks and just make poor old Sonic RUN and do what he does best!

They didn't ignore it. The DS games got good reviews. The people who made the DS games also made the Wii Sonic Unleashed levels. Though they're nowhere near as good as the Xbox 360 versions, they're still really fun to play through. However, why can't Sonic team make a good Sonic for a console instead of a handheld?

First of all: From what I've heard, this game is 3-5 hours long (main story )in sonic unleashed, there is way more daytime stage content in that than in the entire main game of this.

Second of all: this game is not better than sonic unleashed and I can tell from watching people play it. He goes no where near as fast, the level design is nowhere near as good, and he gets stopped every five seconds by a group of enemies and proceeds to flail madly and lose rings until they somehow die.

Nah, this seems a little slower than SA2, which is my fave. You didn't have TOO many stops there, if you attacked, you just homing attacked your way through a line of enemies. Knuckles and Rouge stages were the slowdown, but Sonic&Shadow didn't have too much.

Here it seems kinda sluggish and tiresome.

here's one way to go through the enemies really fast, this excludes big ones, you can jumps over them, or homing attack them and slah, which makes Sonic slash through a chain of enemies instantly

the Werehog isn't that bad, it's much more fun than playing Big The Cat, Amy in SA, or Knuckles's treasure hunts, that at least had a little more movement and waving in it, it wasn't just waggle, besides, don't you think IGN was getting a bit too biased, the 360 guy said Big's levels were much more fun than the Werehog
