Maybe the reason why you say that is probably to do with the fact that Grime emcees (with the exception of a VERY SMALL Minority like Kano) CAN'T.

@JayGriffinblaze i wouldnt say skinny or roots are more technical than akala, his multisyllabic rhymes in my opinion are more technical and in terms of content id say hes on par if not deeper than roots and skinnyman, all the artists you mentioned are amazing though, but id say akala can compete with any of them, especially as you said because he is a younger generation rapper
