yeah the stiff arm is a great move but i think when you cover up you break tackles more often. you get that automatic spin with stiff arms and covering up but from what ive seen you break more tackles by covering up. it all depends on the runner you use tho. also, the spin move in this game is so gay it never works.

No way, the spin move is excellent when playing against hit-stick-happy opponents in the open field. To get some spin-move reps in, I suggest you play a few games of Rushing Attack on all pro difficulty, preferably against a human opponent who knows what he's doing.

your player can automatically make moves to avoid a tackle, the spin move is one of these. The person playing this either did the highlight stick or spin move before using the stiffarm

no ur wrong. that animation that kicked in was automatic.... if u play enough madden, u will notice sometimes it breaks tackles for you. it has nothing to do with the stiffarm he did. or any spin.
