  • ok so i tried this.. god these were good.

    second time i made them i could not locate ground sausage so i just bought some breakfast sausages and removed the casings. added 2 slices of fine chopped bacon and some extra lean ground pork. came out awesome. if your thinking of trying this out do try. kids loved it too.

  • @morningachimasa lots of meats have parasites. Pork has less amounts of parasites. Beef Has More parasites (well good beef because parasites love the clean meat)

  • @morningachimasa that is true but the parasites can't survive in the stomach acids of our bodies while parasites in raw beef (you got to be like those Japanese cooks to make it so you can eat raw beef and not get tape worms and spaghetti worms in your intestines)

  • @Stereotypeblackguy The parasite that lives in pork meat (trichinosis) IS killed by thorough cooking, which is why we are advised to cook pork thoroughly.

  • @flcop212 At least for pork meat sold in the EU this is not really a requirement anymore, since all the meat has to be checked for infection or flash frozen to kill trichinella parasites. There are also other req., e.g. that all food fed to pigs has to be cooked to eliminate the possibility of infecting pigs via their food.

    In countries where this is required it is not necessary to cook pork meat through, it can remain e.g. medium.

    Thorough cooking is still advised for wild game...

  • @flcop212 btw. Trichinosis is not the parasite, it is the disease the parasite causes. The parasite is called Trichinella , just as a side note.

  • Every time I go visit my grandparents in Hassocks I stop by the bakers and kave a scotch egg and a sausage roll. I wish we had them in America.

  • I don't know why cinnamon and pork go together so well, but they do. I remember buying some Vietnamese sausage a while ago that was seasoned with fish sauce and cinnamon. I had a banh mi sandwhich with it, some cilantro, paté (Vietnamese paté, also seasoned with fish sauce, the Vietnamese love them some fish sauce) and Sriracha on a french roll, and it was delicious.

  • I have never seen anything like this before and I'm not surprised that it comes from the british kitchen. Although I find this as a really good food to have in the backpack for outdoor trips and such. I'm gonna have this as hunting food atleast on one hunt during this season. Thanks for sharing!

  • hey... if you want a fuck lazy way to make one,

    1 boil an egg so the middle is just runny

    2 stick some bacon to the outside of the boiled egg(esiest to stick them there with toothpicks)

    3 coat the boiled egg in raw egg

    4 coat it in crushed cornflakes with some salt and pepper.

    5 fry it in a nonstick pan

    there.....easy and not that unhealthy......just dont deep fry it
