Yeah a running argument for all but ive heard many things ad clearly its personal preference. The xbox apparently deals with light and dark a lot better than playstation like splinter cell but the playstation is very good at high velocity movement which the xbox lacks a little. I prefer xbox cuz the analogue sticks are purposely designed to play games longer and more comfortable than the playstation and they make more sense. On the ps3 you have to move your thumb left to go forward. very odd.

@Mr1234Snikers Agree. Most comparison videos Iv'e seen the difference is the brightness. xbox have stronger colors while ps3 have a slightly white filter to it, wich can be seen at 01:00. That has really nothing to do with the graphics. Both concoles are very similar.

No console is better than the other, they both have HDMI, they both run games on 720P and they both almost have same games! going technical, if you dont have FullHD TVs this is the only difference you will find: Rendering speed and distance (barely noticeable) since this game doesn't use full poligon capacity, both will look almost the same there, and last, Shadows render better on PS3 using the game render+Ps3 render, while XBox doesn`t have a standar render, and uses the game's default (for both pixel and vertex shaders)

@randomnamex1 You managed to leave out that the Rendering speed between PS3 and 360 are actually equivalent. But when you put a PS3 on a HD tv there is more lag for the ps3 because the more particles trying to be rendered at the same rate. Both systems will have a lag but 360 is about 2.17 seconds less per frame. Best game to test on? Any Guitar Hero or Rock Band do to there stress test capabilities. I am a comp sci major. I look at hardware and software. I am not a fanboy I prefer PC over both.

@randomnamex1 Simple its 30fps minus 2.17 there is more particles stored for ps3 do to lighting. I personally don't get less titles on pc. I stoles all the software from both systems and run there OS on my PC lol. Then I get the drives for the games and set them to the highest possible setting which neither ps3 or 360 can handle. 360 can run a couple on the highest but if pushed to hard, it red rings. PS3 can't handle any of them. Its really fucking sad. I think the lighting does it in.

@randomnamex1 PS3 and 360 have the exact same hardware. I have put together and fixed both. The only difference is the company. The only thing different is the extra gate for PS3 causing is to have to initialize,run, and debug before the rest. PS3 is actually at a disadvantage. Not to mention most of hits virtual memory goes strait to the disk memory do to blue ray having so much more space.
