we should take all the reality shows off the air except for Survivor, American Idol, and Apprentice. LOOOOOOL!!! clearly im a fan of those shows....see see see how reality shows pull you in, i think they are ridiclous but i even watch a couple.
they made season 2 so good because they knew it was probably gonna get canceled but it sux but it crazy that FOX doesnt seem to get how good Joss shows. Altough in there defense everyone watches reality shows now, if everyone stop watching reality shows and support real fiction tv and not this made up reality crap which really isnt reality because they fix it then we would get more shows like the dollhouse and firefox that stay on the air more then one or two seasons.

Firefox is probably the web broswer your using. and i don't think firefly even got 2 seasons. But i agree with you

I would have canceled it after the first season. I'm sure that we could have been introduced to the story in a much more engaging and audience grabbing way. FOX was the only network that gave him the opportunity to create a series in the first place. It was either FOX or nothing.

If what Joss has said in his interviews about the show not being very profitable (or more than that, effectively being a big loss) is true since the show doesn't do any on air reruns, its audience being so small and the pennies it makes from online viewing is true that one thing. But 0.5 mill/ep is peanuts in the industry. From a financial standpoint, there's no reason CW or someone else couldn't afford $6 mill/year to let this show finish its 5 year plan and do 3 more seasons.
what sucks is that this show got better but got canned. I believe science fiction, at least the type of sci fi that isn't tripped out like Lost, just doesn't fly well on network TV. why did Joss choose Fox over say TNT, SyFy, or maybe even the CW? If I were Joss, I would stay away from Fox. maybe we'll get a Dollhouse movie but I honestly want him to go back to the Buffyverse.
That show is so amazing. I'm getting the first season today! I hope they echo and the dollhouse team stop Rossium once and for all. I never want the show to end. If possible, they should ask another network to take the show so everyone can watch new episodes : Long Live Dollhouse
Yeah, its being cancelled, so means breaking over Christmas is pointless they're just being their typical assy selves. FOX is the worst network for canceling good shows before they've even had a chance
If the shows last three episodes get good viewer turn outs, and the DVD sales are indeed plentiful, that'd mean that there would be a lot more opportunity for the show even more. Thus if that were to happen, the likelihood that the show would then get picked up by another network would be a high probability. But I'm guessing even if that did happen, that Fox wouldn't release the rights to the show -.-

Definitely, the MOST underrated series...
FOX has kept airing excellent new series but cancel it before its time...
maybe if they actually sit down and watch it,they'll get surprised of how actually good the series is...
