vietnameses traps are cheap and verry effective. instead of killing they injure and usually make the wound fester requiring attention and valuable med supplies.

@cybillify Very much so! And because the injured person can no longer walk on his own, likely 2 other soldiers have to help him traverse the terrain. So essentially that one trap takes out 3 men from their normal operational duties, not to mention the psychological warfare of knowing the area is full of spikes under their feet. I agree totally, simple, yet powerful.

@Freezyboy23 LoL you must have watched with the sound off. I talked about that in the video. But yes they did. The trap and techniques were a simple and primal tehnology with many forms which are a very old maiming and/or killing trap used tens of thousands of years ago.

Not a lot really. No military. I hunt and trap and I study the internet, books, shows, and films. It's just a hobbie that I learn more about all the time.
