I read the article about the new fleet for the police. Ford is discontinuing their crown vics and so now they were looking into chevys malibu or dodge charger. sad i like the 2 door muscle cars

Dodge should do a commercial mocking the "Darth Vader VW Passat" Super Bowl commercial, where the kid in a Darth Vader suit comes out of a store or something and turns on his passat with the remote key. But then, across from his spot, he sees the REAL Darth Vader using his remote to start up his black-on-black 2011 Charger. Then the cool announcer says "Yeah, our's can do that too... while actually being cool" or something. And the charger speeds off!

I am the owner of a 2010 Charger. To put it quite frankly, you have made the worst mistake in the Charger line since 1971. I gave you a pass given that the 2006 remake wasn't a coupe, but I can't stand for the 2012 model, it doesn't even look American. The 2012's lines look as though they were copied from the Nissan GTR's trashcan. P.S. You guys got the taillights right this time, sorry I can't say the same for the rest.

@beo303 Top speed is irrelevant; even a 4-pot can hit 250k nowadays. A V8's real value is midrange power, necessary for overtaking. It's great to be able to accelerate from 80 to 120 quickly and in 1 gear.

As for reliability, I think a Hemi is pretty strong; it should handle the Autobahn just fine.
