darksickie are you sure that isn't phosphorus... sometimes it happens here, and yeah it's due to laundry detergents polluting the water, but it looks so pretty, light blue shimmering lights dancing on the waves.

Though I saw little creatures in the NorthSea in Holland, in Zeeland. Late in the evening in the summer, every time you hit the water they gave light. You should actually see it yourself.

You should walk on some havaian beaches or on egyptian sand dunes to listen what are truly singing sands!!! In Egypt they can sound as drums!! In Havai like a dog calling!!
