  • The Daily Show, TYT, and Democracy now need to work together more.

  • Interesting interview. Jon talks how God knows what he is doing with weather as he knows HAARP? Then again when asked - What are u going to be doing this week? and I'll quote "I hope I never get this close to the political process again" As he knew his credibility would fall as his Zionist views would be exposed? He later says "That the media has to extract there loveless marriage and begin to be the outsiders that we need them to be" A cry for help? Maybe? Don't fall for him Vote Ron Paul 2012

  • I love the daily show, but damn I am glad they have good writers, because Jons own jokes fall flat here.

  • @britturk123 uh yeah, other than amy goodman's news show you mean? cuz uh yeah.. really dude?

  • she wants him in the worst way

  • when the oil ends in norway youre duddy... norway dosent produce crappy

  • @saabstorey

Allow me to at least try and take this bullet! ;) (I'm bored)

    @logansGT

I live in Norway, a small country of 4.5 million people in the North part of Europe.

Our country is rich and awarded to be the greatest country to live in.

Our oil reserves are controlled by the government and invested as an security for the Norwegian people.

Why is it so wrong in believing in the people, that you have voted, to lead your nation, and control the flow of money. Instead of the private companies.

  • jon stewart jumped the shark in 2010 with his "rally" that falsely compared left-wing political activist and right-wing nativist political activists. he didnt really back away from that either

  • Amy Goodman = annoying, far-left ideological bitch

Jon Stewart = smugness, mockery, derision mixed with condescension and an arrogant contempt for Americans

  • @logansGT conservatives = anti-intellectual cretins who celebrate their ignorance.

  • @blankportraits - "blank"......you got that correct, numbnuts

  • @logansGT and therefore, Amy Goodman + Jon Stewart = Actual News Stories!

  • @mitnerd36 - Au contraire, mon frere!

Amy Goodman + Jon Stewart = The Far-Left Moonbat Hour

  • @logansGT

only the truly moronic feel condescended to by Jon Stewart...the comedian who regularly expresses and SHOWS a great faith in the American people. Fuck off and die, get out of the gene pool, please.

  • @saabstorey - You're obviously one of those easily-led, vacuous assholes who infest Stewart's audiences and laugh at his drivel and immature histrionics, you fucktard.

And being a fan of far-left moonbat Amy Goodman tells me all I need to know about YOU! You should confine your activities to pumpkin tossing and driving your Saab, because 'thinking' isn't your forte.

I have faith that the American people will continue to reject dummies like you who believe that the government is our saviour.

  • @logansGT So, you have the time to stalk my profile and try to insult me personally, but don't have time to put something on your profile besides a pirated picture of an old movie character? Your life must be so pitiful...

PS, when did I ever say anything about being a fan of anyone? F.O.A.D.

  • I love his smile. And his jokes. And his intelligence.

  • i love his smile (:

  • its weird to listen to Jon Stewart's jokes without a laugh track

  • STEWBEEF!!!!

  • I like the comment he makes about the children around him. Kids suck.

  • I love that little dance he does around 3:40.

  • damn.. she sounds... dead?

  • 'be nice if we paid our guys that much money'

    fuckin brilliant.

  • who cares if they're jewish? why bring race in to this?

  • I'd totally suck jon stewart's cock. And it wouldn't be gay because... cmon its jon stewart

  • @CaramelMan24 totally agree

  • Comment removed

  • @CaramelMan24 no, you'd be gay dude, plus your Canadian, that seals the deal.

  • @CaramelMan24 What the fuck? What's up with the sexual shit people say nowadays O.o

  • Great Jewish minds...Amy Goodman, Jon Stewart and Bill Maher.

  • I'm pretty sure Bill Maher was raised Catholic.

  • don't forget Noam Chomsky, Sara Roy, Richard Falk and Norman Finkelstein. The funny thing is I am arab.

  • Same Semitic Peoples when you look way back in history really...just different tribe.

  • Or Einstein, Spinoza, and Bob Dylan.

  • And James Joyce, John Keats and Yeats!

  • METS! xD

  • Commercial fishery. LOL.

  • Stewart is amazing.

I can't believe he improviseda ll that.

Personally I really really liked his comment on the Black Water scandal.

its so true, we pay our army piece of shit salaries, but we pay these private corporations to place security guards for incredibly expensive salaries..... its all crazy, how so much money and business is related to the wars in Afghanistan and in Iraq, its really not much to do about liberation, its more about making money and getting oil.

  • Who the fuck is Sarah Pallin? lol, how do TV personalities and politicians so commonly pronounce things incorrectly? It's basically their job to be articulate and knowledgeable, yet so many are ignorant. It's like if I were president and I didn't know how to say the word nuclear...

  • You mean the word nucular?

  • Eny is a bad thing hehehe

  • He's always funny.

  • I am so sorry, I was playing with the audio preview feature and accidentally pressed post. My apologies.

  • LOL no worriesxD ROFL your comment made me laugh, it was so randomxD Love Jon Stewart:)

  • good questions

you gave him a ramp to jump

  • thy put in words 2 make him sound bad, thts y it out of snyc!

  • What's with the out of synch video here? Please catch up to the 21st century.

  • Hahaha, "a missed opportunity for God."

    XDDDD

  • Be friends and why are you fighting over maths?

  • There are MILLIONS of conservatives that use Youtube EVERY DAY, and ZERO videos posted of Amy Goodman lying.

    How do you explain that?

  • Now I'm sure you're an idiot, because I've explained for 4 times now that it's not the quantity of partisan viewers, it's how much time and effort said viewers are willing to spend finding media that refutes whatever you want to refute. Liberals, like yourself, have too much time on your hands and are obsessed enough to find the oddest of dubious media clips and post them in some sort of failed defense of something.

  • Again, your logic is retarded, and your math is even worse.

Regardless of the ratio, there are STILL MILLIONS of conservatives that use Youtube EVERY DAY, and still ZERO videos posted of Amy Goodman lying.

Your retarded logic mistake is obvious.

  • Run away math professor.

To assume that out of MILLIONS of conservative youtube viewers, NONE post attacking videos is just IGNORANT. (Attack videos from republicans are all over the place on utube, so don't give me that shit!)

    You suck at math dude

  • Now you have no arguments left, and you have resorted to ad hominids?

If anything, YOU are the troll here, considering you aren't presenting ANY valid arguments anymore, I'd call you a troll.

To assume that out of MILLIONS of conservative youtube viewers, NONE are posting attacking videos is just IGNORANT.

Attack videos from republicans are all over the place on utube, so don't give me that shit!

You obviously can't answer my question.

  • How do you know that there are millions of conservatives that use YouTube every day?

  • I simply looked at the data.

There are about 6 million Youtube users per day, and AT LEAST 1 million of those users will have right-wing political beliefs.

  • This is true, the internet is full of ignorance, at LEAST a sixth of them are, anyway.

  • aww, did baby lose his election

  • When I type in utube "O'rielly lies" or "Ann Coulter lies" or "Rush Limbaugh lies" I find DOZENS of videos showing them lying.

Yet, when I type "Amy Goodman lies" I find no videos.

    HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THAT?

  • Ummm... media bias? Content providers to various web portals being idealistic, naive youngsters who believe people who say things they want to hear? And last but not least, the people willing to monitor Goodman for lies and malaprops don't have as much spare time as your average moonbat liberal.

  • You basically just admitted that you can't find any lies by Amy Goodman.

You also admitted that O'Rielly, Coulter, and Limbaugh lie all the time.

    Thank you.

  • All I admitted to was that you'll find people submitting videos and claims of lies from the latter, and nobody bothers to do the same from the former. Do try to be a different liberal and actually assimilate information rather than read into it.

  • So are you basically saying Amy lies, you just can't provide actual EVIDENCE of it. LOL

How can you believe something with no evidence? Very strange

  • You're not very bright are you? I didn't say whether she lies or not, nor did I say if the other people you cited lied or not. I merely provided a reason why you aren't getting the results via searches on youtube and elsewhere. And that reason boils down to the majority of web users being young, foolish liberals.

  • Your MATH skills need improvement.

Their are MILLIONS of conservatives that use Youtube EVERY DAY, and ZERO videos posted of Amy Goodman lying.

    How do you explain that?

  • This was explained earlier but I forget you Gen-Y types can't assimilate information unless it's on an iPod or cell phone. The conservatives on youtube don't have the spare time you underemployed liberals do and don't bother hunting down the myriad evidence of just about anything they want to prove.

  • Maybe you haven't read my response to that. I said:

    Your MATH skills need improvement.

Their are MILLIONS of conservatives that use Youtube EVERY DAY, and ZERO videos posted of Amy Goodman lying.

Your explanation is faulty to say the least.

  • did this broad just say "fake news show?" its not fake news...its news spin, chick.

  • She said "fake news" because that's what Jon Stewart calls it.

    Dumbass

  • zeitgeist didn't exactly debunk god's existence.

More like a comparative religion piece if anything.. and a look at astrotheology - definitely cool, but hardly a debunk of god's existence.

Most of that information isn't even well sourced and much of it has been debunked. Not that I didn't enjoy the piece, or anything.

    Flashy images don't = truth.

  • Yeah, I'm sure God is going to do SO much to Jon Stewart for mocking an incompetent person who should never have been given any office, let alone that of Governor. Shame on him for wanting good people in government, right?

  • the wrath of god huh? the way you say it sounds like itll include some coc & bal restraints and possibly a nipple clamp.

  • Yay! The second coming! Is Sarah Palin a Christian shaman?

  • Yes she is!

  • Amy Goodman is the best!

Best two news sources: Democracy Now, and Daily Show.

  • I wish someone would just ask him "so, how was your day today?" It seems like they hit him with all the hard political questions, but they don't seem to phase him anyway. XD

  • I love the subtle bash at the Westboro Baptist Church...

  • if i had known jon was going to be at the airport that day, i would have driven down and tried to catch a glimpse of him... or possibly meet him (i only live about a half hour away). he's looking handsome, as always!

  • why would you stand behind a camera interview and stand there and smile like an idiot? i don't get people.

  • this was likely the interview of a lifetime for this woman

  • jon stewart is great. this country needs more like him!

  • wow jon is always funny!

  • I like the daily show better sometimes the colbert report makes no sense

  • The main focus of the Colbert Report seems to be the character Colbert is playing; while it's still a hilarious show, in my opinion the Daily Show is much more consistent.

  • Stewart/Colbert '08

    What could have been... 8-)

    Jon is awesome, period.

  • "I could see her running the Justice Department." Oh man, that's brilliant. And wasn't he just spot-on with his predication about the "concerned and caring" Republican response to the hurricane?

Geez- if the repub's can elect a B-grade actor (and then worship him for decades afterwards, despite all his screw-ups), why can't WE get Stewart elected?

  • Because it doesn't work that way. You don't elect good candidates, you elect stupid and incompetant ones. Like, duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh.

  • great guy.

  • Jon Stewart is great and this was a nice interview

  • that was awesome- great questions... good answers!

  • How awesome as Jon Stewart?! Imagine being that "on" after being on a flight and not expeting an interview. He rocks!

  • Adolf Hitler was also a community organizer and people liked him at first to. oboma or Hillary should run a state like they want to run the country so we can see what they are like. My opinion is oboma hillary state equals welfare state. If you didnt notice im tired of the hate monger ultra rich liberal blow hards.

  • Rach: Are you not tired of an five year war that costs more than all of the U.S. social initiatives together, spawned by inaccurate information fostered by our leaders, and unrelated to 9/11 that only makes a handful of rich conservatives richer? It's tough to look at the other side, but try, K?

  • Jesus was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor.

Adolph Hitler was NOT a community organizer... despite what you've read on the right wing blogs or heard on Rush "pimple on my azz" Limbaugh's show!

  • And O'Reilly can no longer be considered a journalist. Which is worse a "journalist" posing as impartial or a comedian being impartial?

  • How is O'Reilly not impartial? You don't watch his show, you watch excerpts from those jealous of his off the chart ratings. Your question is better posed to CNN, MSNBC, NBC, AP, and now Oprah. Your female messiah REFUSES to have Governor Palin on her show.

  • Well, now, see, your colors are out. You went from complaining about impartial comedy to railing against most news outlets excepting, notably, FOX, and then assuming but I don't like the bellicose, interruptive style of opinion typified by Mr. O'Reilly have, on precious little evidence, made Oprah my Messiah. FYI Lots of people scared of other opinions run to sanctuary. High ratings are often little more than a testament to that kind of desire for insulation.

  • Your comments are not only inaccurate, they are intellectually lazy. Condensing your inflammatory rhetoric into one paragraph does not add validity to your opinions. High ratings are like going to the polls and voting. Majority rules. O'Reilly compelled Obama to admit the surge has succeeded. Or didn't you watch what everyone else was?

  • popular vote doesn't really matter raybone or werent you here in the U.S. for last 2 elections? check those electoral college votes and I think you might change your tune. Besides why does everyone act like this is a football game or something?! ALL of our lives are hanging on this election and I cannot believe that people want to keep this country going in the direction its been heading for the last 8 years...

  • Do you really think your life is hanging in the balance with this election? Enough with the dramatics. Politicians are corrupt. Whether it is Obama or McCain. They are ALL corrupt. Some are just more corrupt than others. If it's your life you are concerned with, check to make sure your local law enforcement agency is staffed, and armed properly, because they are the only thing standing between you and anarchy.

  • actually I do. Gas prices, the economy, the war in Iraq, the environment, and teh list goes on and on. These days teh political issues are affecting everyone. people are losing jobs and homes. If you dont care I respect that but I think no matter what political party you claim, it is time for Americans to at least try to do better than we have.

  • Unfortunately hek718, Americans actually have the gov't they deserve. Although 'the just suffer with the unjust', the fact is that less that 50% of eligible voters actually bother vote to vote at all. And, those who vote against their best interest will continue to suffer and continue to scapegoat anyone who doesn't look like them, worship the same GOD as they do, or speak the same language.

By the time they wake up, it may be too late.

  • thanks for a concise description of both political spectrum extremes.

it's time for americans to wake up and insist on bipartisanship, less bickering and ineffective positioning, and a stop to earmarks and corruption.

  • My bellicose friend: "How is O'Reilly not impartial?" is the height of laziness. He says "his conservative listeners." Who else? I saw the recap, yes, thank you, but krikey, facts bend pretty easy over there. Watch Daily Show's quote vs. quote on Palin's experience. Rove says Kaine's experience is pale, as a mayor of a city of 200K, & now how challenging Wasilla was for Sarah. Majority rules airways, I grant. Minority still enjoys a good book. It's fundamental!

  • Why would I believe what is on The Daily Show? Jon Stewart himself says his show is parody, and should not be taken seriously. That is why his show is nominated for best comedic series. You can get your news from the IMPROV if you want, but his writers will only let you hear one side. (Even during a writers strike) =)

  • Why not? Parody, yes, but not to say there isn't info there. So busy trying to prove the validity of your opinions you're not really listening. Reference was to videotape. Writer's didn't put those words in their mouths. Conversely, you can get your news from TALK shows, but it will mostly just be a massage for your pov. Sorry. Caps were a mirror of the seeming petulance. Hey Jon also won for outstanding achievement in news. So did Bill. Oh, no, sorry again.

  • nothing better than hearing jon stewart talk, great guy

  • huh??? you lost me.

  • Why the voice is not synchronised with the film? Or is it only my delusion?

  • It is my opinion that America has tilted its head so far to the right that even people standing straight now appear to be leaning left.

  • Well said, Jacob.

Brothermoon -- aren't you tired of posing as an independent while peddling your right-wing hogwash? Does reality have a liberal bias, too? That's your schtick -- "well, I'm an independent, blah blah blah.."

  • as usual, anyone who doesn't agree with your opinions and ideas is labeled right-wing. that's not only ignorant but irrational. your 'version' of reality isn't necessarily truth. get real, get educated, and be an independent thinker.

  • Pot calling the kettle, brothermoon. And with two graduate degrees from prestigious universities, I'd say I'm fairly well-educated by most standards.

  • what i said still applies. i already practice examination across the spectrum and you'd do well to do the same.

kudos to you.. however even fairly well-educated people can be ignorant, biased, and think they hold the only correct view of reality. a flawed and arrogant tendency.

  • The syncing was out - but I gave it a 5 anyway for getting to see Jon in casual clothes!

  • OMG I would give a 5 except the syncing is off! ;__;

  • I used to like the Daily Show, before it became 30% comedy, 70% biased propaganda. If you're going to be that biased at LEAST be a little funnier (like Steven Colbert)

  • jon stewart takes a very common sense view on the news and current events, he doesn't have a liberal agenda at all. ANYONE WHO SUPPORTS MCCAIN IS LITERALLY STUPID, OBAMA IS ALRIGHT AND I WOULD MUCH RATHER HAVE HIM AS PRESIDENT THEN MCCAIN BECAUSE I WOULD MOVE OUT OF THE COUNTRY IF MCCAIN WAS PRESIDENT BECAUSE WE'D BE INVADING IRAN BY 2009 AND THEN ONCE HE DIED FROM BEING TOO OLD SARAH PALIN WOULD BE OUR PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if only ron paul was given a real chance by the media.

  • even ron paul is smart enough to identify the manipulative spin applied for left leaning satirical comedy by stewart. i wish ron paul was a viable option.

  • well, from a libertarian point of view, i usually agree with jon stewarts view about 95% of the time because he pretty much takes the common sense, constitutional point of view pretty much everytime he has an opinion on something. Stewart has stated before that he does not have a bias as to what is liberal or conservative and doesn't try to present his show that way, he pretty much just states whatever his own opinion is he isnt party partisan at all

  • he might claim that, but examining how much effort he puts into creating a joke with a left leaning bias (using spin, exaggeration, distortion) vs. the jokes on the left, it's fairly obvious. in addition, if you've seen interviews he's done it's pretty apparent he leans left.

  • when John McCain dies in January We will be speaking Russian or Chinese.

  • yeah I hear they are close to Alaska

  • now we all know reality has a strong liberal bias...

  • through those filtered glasses i'm sure it does.

  • he's from central Jersey alienmoonbase..more facts, less hostility

  • He rips the left all the time, it's just that the right provides so much more material.

  • if that were true, then he'd also focus on hypocrisy by media figures like olbermann, lies and flip flips by obama, and the stagnant inaction by our current congress. his criticism is limited and light hearted of the left, while taking the time to make a concerted effort for a manipulation in order to rip the right. just something to consider when you watch with an open mind.

  • Clearly you are not watching with an open mind, but it is typical of rightwingers to project onto others that which they do, say, or think themselves.

  • on the contrary, observations of bias are more easily noted when one is more independent in thought. what is clear, is that your presumption is based on nothing and both left and right project their ignorance. less partisanship and more intelligent, independent thought please. thank you.

  • It just psychological projection; nothing more and nothing less.

  • you're clearly not thinking independently or critically.

do that and you will be able to identify the bias from right and left.

  • You are better served by taking that assessment and applying it to yourself. Good luck with that.

  • since i already strive you, you'd be wise to do the same. then you'd be able to think and speak more intelligently and balanced on the issues. Left, Right, and Center is a good place to start (kcrw). take care now

  • brothermoon wrote: "since i already strive you..."

Despite his inability to construct a simple, coherent sentence or proffer a cogent argument, brothermoon has convinced himself that his intellect is somehow superior or more evolved than the rest of us.

...typical of low information voters and the dumbed-down citizenry of these united states.

  • a simple error of typing. you never make those, do you?

it's amazing how criticism of your biased statements is interpreted as claiming a superior intellect.

you obviously can't understand - or is it purposeful distortion - that examining various points of view on a spectrum enable one to more aptly consider and respond to an issue.

that's chronic behavior of the ignorant, knee-jerking lemmings in this country that don't think independently for themselves or use rational thought. good luck

  • brothermoon wrote:"it's amazing how criticism of your biased statements is interpreted as claiming a superior intellect. ...you obviously *can't* understand..."

    Then brothermoon wrote:

"...that's chronic behavior of the *ignorant*, knee-jerking lemmings in this country that don't think independently for themselves or use *rational* thought."

Hmmmm... nope, it is that he clearly cannot understand his own delusions of grandeur-induced claims to superior intellect & enlightenment! *lol*

  • haha.. the irony is in your own statements of inane hypocrisy.

  • Speaking of inane...

I present brothermoon's latest comment! More inanity from brothermoon coming soon!

  • instead of the juvenile retorts, try visiting spinspotter.

  • We hope you enjoyed brothermoon's latest insane... errr... inane posting ladies & gentlemen.

This one was brought to you by Superiority Complex University!

  • ..of which you claim to be the dean. ;)

  • This is not inaccurate. Fact is, the Republicans are more insular-- exclusionary-- there's a tendency for them to ride rough on human liberties, while puffing up their chest for war. An easier target. Funnier. Meanwhile, Jon Stewart lives in and loves NYC-- a city of people of every stripe-- with proximity to an international understanding that is rare elsewhere. Why wouldn't he have compassion for the party that tries to take care of everyone else. It's a much tougher road than the GOP has.

  • I like how you skipped over the part where Obama ADMITS to O'Reilly that the surge has succeeded. Looks like you'll have to put away your white flag for another day. Semper Fi.

  • Skipped because it's insignificant. Waiting for Bush to admit he framed up war in Iraq as being correlated to 9/11. Seems bigger doncha think? 5,000 soldiers dead, 30,000 wounded, half a trillion dollars? I'm just sayin'.

  • The Iraq war is a contiuation of the first gulf war in 1991. There was a cease-fire signed. Continuation of the cease-fire was that Iraq comply with the terms of it, including U.N. inspections. They would not comply, kicked out the inspectors, fired upon US Aircraft patroling the no-fly zones, and deified (18) UN resolutions/sanctions to comply. All Hussain had to do was comply. He chose war, and the rope he got his neck stretched from. That's why civilian's like you are unqualified to comment.

  • BS. Conservatives of your stripe are scary. Unqualified to comment? On a war that has sullied our international standing and left us in hock to our eyes to the Chinese? Your argument tramples the idea of democracy and the foundations of the Constitution. The war was construed to be related to 9/11. Anything else is revisionist. Unqualified to comment? What you want is Fascism, my non-civilian friend. Reread your post. It's BS. So is your style of discourse.

  • Your profanity is almost as juvenile as your opinions. With your analogy, we should have never fought the Nazi's because Germany never attacked us either. Maybe you would like to see the Jews in Israel rounded up and put back in concentration camps, but I say we were right then, and we are right now. You may only care about Blacks in Darfur, but the Kurds in Northern Iraq have a human right to exist also, and not be wiped out by Genocide, liberal racism, and apathy.

  • Talk about juvenile-- A ridiculous hypothesis-- WWII=Iraq. Liberal racism is a fairly weak concept. And, I can't quite get to how enrolling our allies before embarking on a catastrophic war is apathetic. Whatever that is it certainly is better than being a fool. Dern it. I've now violated my mother's axiom: Don't argue with fools. You can't win, and eventually the audience can't tell the difference. G'bye my motley friend. Have fun with the other 29% who agree with you.

  • You're quitting? Typical liberal. Quits in the middle of a fight. Maybe a surge on your side would help? Semper Fi.

  • Don't participate in fights like this one. It's like, yeah, like attacking Iraq when Bin Laden is in Afghanistan. Typical bonehead. Ciao.

  • Did the mother you spoke of earlier teach you to be a quitter? Your mother would be disappointed to see you behave as you have. Your comments lacked any substance, so your attacks on me turned personal. Did your mother teach you that too? You should show her more respect with your conduct.

  • You defy sense. I said I was leaving, stop tapping my foot under the stall door.

  • What would you be doing in a Mens Room?

  • Yes, you are unqualified. Do you ever walk up to paramedics working on a victim at crash scene and tell them; "Put a Cervical Collar on that one, start an I.V. w/D5W on the other etc? If not, why not? You are about as qualified to do that as you are to comment on the war. You're just like Oprah. She gives marriage advice, yet has never been married. She gives advice on raising children, yet has none. Now she wants to tell me how to vote? I don't think so. Stick to what you're qualified to say.

  • Quoth the pompous ass

  • absolutely

  • alienmoonbase is really larry craig.

  • That was alienmoonbase - Republican voter, ladies and gentlemen. Give him a big hand.
