I like the show because the character development is great-the characters aren't just carboard cutouts like every other show-and the animation is killer. I mean, what other kids television features ponies who talk to bags of flour and a pile of rocks? Or have a character named Derpy? The creators really connect with the fans and there's tons of hilarious references. Plus, it's just enjoyable and fun to watch.
