  • some of you people have to realize he was almost 30 when he made the comeback and your saying to trade young prospects like bruce or someone else who has a full career not putting the man down he is an inspiration to many but he is just not gonna have a 15 year career

  • @IamDexter120 He was 26, and could very well have a 14-15 year career as many players play until 40... Not to mention he is better than Bruce & whoever else... I say you make that move. He's still got about 3 years on top before age may start to take a toll.

  • He wasn't the superstar he is now when he was with the Reds. Thats why they traded him

  • Bkcotton has a good point. The Rangers had an arm to give like they always do for a bat so they took advantage of the Reds shopping an OF.

  • we got an ace in volquez for him. it's much harder to find a stud pitcher than a stud outfielder.
