It is quite interesting that a melody written over 400 (!) years ago by Hans Leo Hassler still attracts us so much. Paul Simon created a wonderful song using Hasslers tune. And your rendition, Nate, is outstanding. But still my credits go to Hans Leo Hassler (1564-1612).

Great singing! Your guitar playing was missing some arpeggios and not quite as lyrical as Simon's, but that's a very hard song to play like he did and you almost got it. Paul Simon is without a doubt one of, if not, the most underrated guitar player in American pop music. Flawless finesse and time. Again though, fantastic singing, you nailed it on that. And Simon is one of my favorite musicians of all time, and this is one of my favorite songs so I do not hand out kudos like that easily.
