@BUGHUNTER6 The entity needs to be an Info_particle_system. Once you place it in the game world, double click on it to edit it's properties and set 'Particle System Name' to one of the names listed here. You need to trigger the particle effect with an input or by setting the entity to start as active.
Where should I put these names in? If I type them into the entity - bar, it won't work...
Sorry I'm new at particles.

you need an env_fog_controller entity for fire effects to show I think.

forgot to mention - you need to set 'enable fog' to yes as well.
Also check the flags for the env_fire so that it doesn't start off.
