  • we do it with three guys. it just taks a little longer

  • why don't you have a real pivot dealer like Plains Irrigation do that for you?

  • this is gay

  • What are these things for that make huge green circles? I always thought it was some kinda crop circle the aliens created....

  • Damn man. Yall do it strange. We lay ours out span by span and can have one up and walking in less then 10hrs. But we only do Zimmatic's

  • about 100 grand from start to finish (well, pump, underground, 3 phase power, and the steel). But trust me a zimmatic is cheaper and more reliable over time.

  • we got zimmatic, my grandpa has had dry land corn up until 2005 and he has been farming sence the early 60's, he still cant beleive it pumps out 900 gallons a minute!!

  • How much would a setup like this cost you?

  • We build this pivots in a day we have work with all kinds of pivots for more info call us THANK YOU !!!! 785-259-9095 AnselmoA&R Construction and sons Jr 806-240-2261 Angel 806-566-8020

  • I work for T-L and we are the best of the best.

  • for all brothers here i want to install one system for a circular area of 100 hectar 1000meter diameter in iraq so that i want to know homuch it will cost me for 100 hectar circular area.

    thanks.

  • I've been working on and selling these systems since 1984 so I could probably give you soon history. Not sure how you want to reach me though

  • hey to any experts on the pivot irrigation system i need to do a huge paper for history on it and i need an interview on the subject so if anybody wants to post a video explaining what it is or how it works or both that would be awesome thank you

  • Pierce Centre Pivots from KB Irrigation are the best you can get in New Zealand

  • thats why pivots suck, so buy thunderbird wheelines instead.

  • How many set of thunderbirds do you want. I got 10 or 12 for sale!!!!!

  • I have a spiner knob of this company on the tractor

  • bellboy...

im not sure i get wat you are saying

all irrigations have there good and bad parts...

seriously we get more problems with valley and rienkes around here than zimmatics...

    field commander...

theres alot more to an irrigation than to just put it up and exspect it to go...

you haved to wire it drill a well (which you never know how long thats gunna take) pipe it up and the list goes on... and with lots of work its hard too do.but i agree it shouldnt take seven months.

  • This crew is very good. I work on Valley and other competitor machines for 26 yrs and I don't get near the service calls on a Valley that I do on all other brands. Zimmatic may come in second but the computerized panels they use leave a lot to be desired. T&L's are another so so brand and never buy into the concept that they water more evenly. Sorry but when the temperature goes up and down the machine speeds up and down also.

  • i work for a irrigation company in central illinois. we sell lindsay pivots zimmatic irrigations. sry to say but valley irrigations are not very good. yea those guys put it up fast but it wont last as long as a zimmatic. theres so many more things for a lindsay pivot. and reinke plz haha

  • haha you are dreaming if you think that Zimmatics are better than Valley pivots, i own both and there is no comparison. I guess they are better cause you sell them? ...The only reason i have a zimm is cause it was on purchased land and it will be gone soon.....

  • Yeh go Zimmatics! My old man just put up one on our dairy farm near Oamaru, New Zealand and it's brilliant. Keep up the good work!

  • haha whod u get to do that? Rainer?

  • Sounds to me like someones really drank the kool-aid.

  • 2nd best crew out there, next to 4 R Const...

  • I can remember when we had our pivot installed.we used reinke. so far its holding up fine. its doing good on the hills to.

  • You guys can come build me a pivot anytime. If you liked this video, checkout "frankenclyde."

  • This crew is good, i have seen then build first hand! We build T-L's and can get them up in a day and ahalf which is pretty good because they have more steel in them and are more complicated to build. When you have a few nebraska dealers selling 50 T-L's a year it keeps us busy! I would hate to work with that electricity though i know of a couple highly educated pivot technicians that died working on those sparkomatics! Go hydraulic!More even water pattern, less track, why wouldnt you buy a t-l?

  • DAMN that was fast! we purchased a 14 span center pivot last year. it was unloaded in the field in mid november, and became 100% functional only about 3 weeks ago in mid june. We need this Valley dealer in my part of the country! We bought from Mid Valley Irrigation, inc., a company from the MO bootheel, and they have got more going on than they can take care of.

  • Who ever sid it was a Massey tractor - wrong! It's a Case IH MXU or MXM.

  • Cant Afford Something Else

  • whats the song called !

  • "I'm In a Hurry" by Alabama.

  • its a irrigayton system

  • WAT THE FUK IS?

    (bastard)

  • this is a gay vid fuck

  • without these we would probally flood potatoes without computers in the pivet c you can put as much water as you want instead of drowning it oh and dont say stupid stuff

  • whats so gay about it?

  • Did you know, water used in Nebraska by center pivot irrigation systems comes from the underground Ogallala Aquifer, which was layed down when the ice melted after the last ice age and is now been used faster than it can be replenished, so it wont be there forever, A bit of triva there to ponder, Jim

  • That aquafer is a massive one but they say its declining at a rate of 1.75 feet a year.Scary stuff. For the people consuming water from the Ogallala Aquifer you better start conserving because it just won't last forever. We stopped taking from the Salmon River in Idaho for numerous reasons and built an irrigation pond for our alfalfa operation. If more ranchers don't bite the bullet and start this it will all come to an end one day and there won't be water to flush your toilet let alone water crops

  • Besides water, can it (or other systems) spread nutrients?

  • what sucks is when people steal that copper wire

  • Very Cool!

  • I install zimmatic and greenfield pivots

  • they make zimmatics in my town

  • wtf...

    how gay srsly

  • no body told you to watch this fucking retard

  • Valley is the only way to go

  • wheres the boom truck

  • hell man nice work i do the same job 12 spans are alot of fun we do rainke pivots.nice video guys.but we got a boom truck

  • the red tractor is a Massey Fergusson!!!! Bitches who hate Tractors!!

  • STFU U SON OF A BITCH

  • How big can this pivot system be built ??

  • Should be a Reinke damnit lol

  • i put up reinke they the best

  • Awesome song.

  • hate that red tractor! it is everywhere!

  • he didnt make it in a second its on speed mode

  • its very nice. jesus venezuela

  • Some of the towers have wheels that can be turned sideways for pulling on the end. Our Valley can do that. Just pull a pin, turn the wheels, and re-insert the pin into the other hole. They also have a pin that you puul, to allow the wheels to "freewheel". No need to disconnect a driveshaft to tow it.

We never take ours to a different farm, so have never needed to do that. Could if we wanted.

  • I've seen some assembled in the field.

Others, they actually assembled individual spans at the shop. Then they put on end on the flat bed of one dually truck, and the other end on a different flatbed dually. Drive it down the road like a hook and ladder fire truck. LOL One driver in each truck.

  • Cool video and thanks for sharing. We dont have any irrigation in my part of Iowa.I like that little bonfire at the end. It almost looked like a small explosion sped up like that.

  • Thats a neat video, I work at a dealership and enjoy seeing new Valleys goin up, heck any Valley going up is a good thing to see.

  • Yes, They use a dolly to pull it out. The pivot was, up, wired and walking, they pulled in at about 7:45 and left at about 3. I now a guy at a Valley Dealer said they have had one up and watering at 12:45 and they started at 7. He said the aderinal was REALLY flowing!

  • dam how many spans what that one

  • so how long did it take and how many guys on the crew. Wasall the electrical complete also?

    still a cool vid

  • great video! Salter Farms website is one of the best.

  • That is really cool! When the tractor pulls the assemble section, do they jack it up and place it on some sort of a dolly? How many acres would that circle be?

  • Well, I built some of my own center pivots, and the way I transported the "spans" (the system's sections) was by placing temporary wheels on the basebeam of that wheelset that allowed the span to be towed in a straight line. Then I just towed it toward the pivot point and attached it to the pivot point, provided that it is the first span, or just attached it to the span before it. Other than that, I'd have to guess that it covers somewhere around 105-115 acres.

  • Cool video! I run 18 pivot systems to date and never get tired of watching one go up, the guys that do that for a living sure make it look easy!
