  • @SuperGauss100 LOL. that's just the bull's hair. you can see it in the original painting. Anyway, check out my other vids. I have several tutorials as well as links to my modeling training courses on lynda.com

    good luck!

  • Gorgeous! I once tried to make a zsphere/sculpt representation out of the "Cronus" painting......horrible flop. This is beautiful. Definitely one to add to the reel, man :)

  • They like identical and I'm just curious of how many hours did you put into this? 3D modeling is very hard and takes up too much time.

I'm very new to 3D modeling and Maya was my top choice. I find it to be fun and exciting and as 1 of my biggest hobbies of all and it takes up lots of my time learning and designing.

  • @NDSiXL The more you do it, the faster you get at it. The modeling, texturing and lighting took about a month. But a beginner would take much longer. It just comes down to the more practice you have, the faster you get.

  • how long have you worked with maya?

  • @xTvdM almost 5 years, but I've been doing 3D in general for almost 11.

  • :0 Incredible, amazing modeling skills!!

  • wow! great improvision of the front part of the woman not pervertedly but the ribs and the legs and the face great work!

  • Hey man great work! I'm a student at ITT-Tech and im just started my 3D Modeling class this semester; are there any tips you can give me as a begginer? Such as simple things to try and model or techniques?

  • @TheClinicallyDead Just never stop practicing! there's no one-single right way to model. There's lots of ways and all of them come in handy some time or another. Some are better for some tasks and some are better for others. The only way to learn which methods work best is to try them all! Then you can mix and match techniques :)

  • What can I say but WOW. Simply amazing work keep it up.

  • I don't really like the painting(it so cheesy), but i really like your 3d work.

    Very well done!
