I hope no one has updated their DSi to the new 1.4.3u upgrade. If you haven't don't do it because it will block your R4 chip. So far the only thing I think that will trick it into playing is using an AR for codes then going from there.

R4/i is there to bypass that.

@nyachankawaii The cartridge itself loads the games. The R4i itself lets the DS run a line of code, so it basically tells the DS to run the .nds . When you put something into a SD slot into a DS, it only looks for picture and video formats which means it can't run .nds file. That is why the R4i cartridge is needed.
