  • i jsut replaced the stock mufflers with flowmasters and then took out the resinors at the end...

  • im sooooo glad that someone took their fucken time to make an exhaust video. i have a 99 crown vic that i was planning on doing some exhaust work to and i thought of how nice these these delta 40's sound. great car man, sounds really nice!!

  • fail its still a slow as ford

  • I'd like to know if the spring comes from a mustang, if yes What year and What is the model?

  • You are soo cool..love the vid!

  • Jeez Zulu. The car sure did move when you got in it.

  • go to magnaflow, I ordered custom high flow cats for my 98, instead of two cats on each side, it's one big one. $252 a side

  • yea but you will have to get a tune to delete the 2 lower O2 senors or can you still use all 4??

  • I still used all four because remember that on the stock setup, there is two (on each side) that are before the first set of cats, and two after them. It's basically and OEM setup, but you're only running one massive cat on each side as opposed to 2 smaller ones.

  • oh you got to link me with ur set up... if i can still use all 4 and no CEL?? sweet!!!

  • I'll take a vid and pics of it when it's nicer out and post them for ya. It sounds pretty good, I have Delta 50's on mine (awesome fuel economy because they're three chamber, and I still get the nice rumble of a delta 40)

  • @burnzy7722 Rear 02 sensors are before the rear cats so it wouldn't matter anyway

  • i would have went with glass packs they sound better. check mine out my shit beastie yo shit quiet

  • glasspacks are restrictive and actually cost you hp because they dont flow as well as a chambered muffler

  • @bloozelover how is a glasspack more restrictive when it has a straight through design? compared to multiple bends?

  • its physics man a glass pack is essentialy a a straight thru pipe that dose not reduce back preassure in the system but a chambered muffler like a flowmaster for example is a large open cavity and last i checked a large open cavity can hold more than a tube

  • that makes absolutely no sense, but whatever you say

  • a large open muffler can hold more exhaust gas before building back preassure a glass pack has little room to hold exhaust gases so a glass pack puts more backpreassure on the exhaust system than a chambered type muffler the point isnot to improve flow the point in a performance exhaust system is to reduce backpreassure and improved flow dose not always mean less backpreassure

  • okay captain

  • I went Flowmaster Super 44s. They sound a little more aggressive.

  • louder or more rumbly?

  • More deep bass tone. Not cheesy, hey, look at me, I have a loud exhaust, but more, WTH is in that thing sound.

  • you should take 2 of your cattlytc converters off ... it will sound wayy better dude

  • but you have to put them back on for emmisions test

  • Also I've been told to stay away from Flowmasters cause they give off a "drone/buzzing" noise that can be very annoying. I've also been told to get 18" Glasspacks to go with the tips but I heard that they don't last long... sorry for all the questions but as you can see I'm lost.

  • i got super 40s

    sound great

  • ok cool. i'll post a vid in the coming weeks.

  • check the video of mine

  • Burnzy i have some questions for u. I have a 98 CV PI and I wanna do some stuff to it... not much but make it a lot better. Now I have been looking for Marauder tips for a few days now and I'm coming up a bit short. I want that sound but just a tad but more growl so I found Borla round intercooled exhaust tip, outlet size 2.5", inlet size 2", length is 6" so would that work? i found a Magnaflow Muffler Size: 6" x 14". Do I need a muffler or the tips alone are good? Thanks

  • what mods you got coming?

  • 3.73 posi, 10.5 inch TC, a Blue Oval Chip tune, and a nice 75hp shot of N2O (the dry system which can produce 100-125). nothing to crazy as its a daily driver but not my primary car.

  • sounds awesome dude! i would recommend an MMC driveshaft with the 3.73's so you dont get unwanted vibration.

  • sounds like old mopar in some ways

  • How much did the mufflers cost each got a 2001 vic and really want to rip the pipes off it.

  • look on ebay for the flowmaster delta 40's, find the tips u want. it cost me $100 to put on the mufflers and tips. took them an hour...

  • Wait a month or so..It will change a little. Gets better...

  • Could have done away with the Star Wars music. Sounds good though. A lot better than Original or Super 40's
