  • Sweet Video

  • nice video, the other thign is the art related with range rovers (only car in the Louvre ,just for the desing, and doesn`t have a paint in the body as the bmw painted by warhol)

  • I have also always been a Range Rover fan! I like the video and I think it is a perfect reflection of a Range Rover owner. Both the artist and a Range Rover driver are proud and adventurous. Great video, I really enjoyed it!

  • I agree Bastille71, I thought the video was very creative and was the sort of "out-of-box" thinking that advertisements should aspire too. Hopefully one day I'll be driving down the beach in a Range Rover.

  • I think it's a really cool "perspective" piece. Definitely aimed at a specific group of people - but it drew my attention and I thought it was interesting.

  • Hey DrIce -- You don't have to watch it! And it says Range Rover on it, too.

  • range rovers are HOT

  • Umm...I actually thought this was pretty cool. Different from most of the run-of-the-mill auto stuff you see. Plus those sand drawings were dope.

    I liked...

  • I love the video! Who cares if it is marketing? Even if it is - it is an excellent example of superior branding! The artist's vision is perfectly aligned with the people who would drive a Range Rover. It's all about your perspective in life - and IMO what you drive shapes your view of the world.

  • I thought the video was interesting. Growing up on the coast, albeit the East Cost, I have always enjoyed most anything that has to do with the beach. I loved how this artist had the vision to make something that he was only able to appreciate once he stepped away from it. I am no artist, but I doubt that is an easy thing to do. Plus, I have always been a Range Rover fan.

  • Unfortunately, no SUV or Truck is very sexy or even artistic. Sorry...if you think otherwise you are deluding yourself. They all look the same, tall boxy, cumbersome. You want utility, you give up looks and performance.

  • WADRespect, you paint w/ too large a brush, (NO SUV or truck is...) and I beg to differ. Granted, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' there are countless examples of esthetically pleasing SUV/Truck forms out there (from the perspective of an Art Educator). Utility? An artistic truism - form follows function - indeed, utility CAN be packaged w/ good looks and performance, i.e., BMW X5, Infinity's SUV, RRover Overfinch, IMNSH artist-ic opinion. Delusional? my bad, I drive the RRover!

  • Apparently you have never been in a luxury SUV, if you can't consider the interior sexy (and even artistic) then you must not have a eye for it. The exterior looks of them tend to be based on taste, personally I love SUV's more than any car on this planet, seriously. Now performance, you are 100% right about that!! HAHA, but if you are in the SUV market, speed performance isn't very high on the list!!

  • This is complete marketing bullshit. YouTube is certainly going down TheTube. =(

  • "What is it?" Did he say, "a mark in the sand?" or "a marketing stand?" Either way, this is free advertising space (hosted by youtube) for Ford Motor Company (Ford purchased Land Rover from BMW in 2000). In this manner, plopping Ford's product next to some sand drawings cheapens both. I am uninspired by this.

  • wow you guys are geniuses. YouTube hosts commercials? Cry me a freaking river and get with the game already. Enjoy the videos here for what they are or go watch something else.

Oh, and what a unique criticism. All the wannabe Siskel and Ebert's coming out since the merger....Dry your eyes already.

    dope range, btw.
