The bathroom fan in my last apartment was just a fan behind a filter with some anti-humidity crystals behind it? Didn't seem like it was ventilating, just circulating air past the filter and crystals. Never knew that's how it worked until I had to move out and changing the filter was part of the checklist.

The title of this video is "How to **Install** a Bathroom Fan", which to me means "Install a new" Bathroom Fan, but he really only covers how to **replace an existing** Bathroom Fan. Replacing an existing fan, where the wiring and ductwork already exists, looks easy-- it would be nice to see a video where they actually install a new fan.
