However in the south of Lebanon where Hezoballah are most prominent, most of the locals there praise them for their protection and theyre building of roads, hospitals etc. But Israel dont just fight against Hezoballah if they did , the problem would not be such an issue. If the west creates a set of rules for going to war and then breaks those rules, is it not a war crime? Also to say that Hezbollah has not targeted civilians shows a lack of understanding of the events of the 2006 Lebanon War.

However in the south of Lebanon where Hezoballah are most prominent, most of the locals there praise them for their protection and theyre building of roads, hospitals etc. But Israel dont just fight against Hezoballah if they did , the problem would not be such an issue. Roads/Bridges: Choke points are valid targets to constrain enemy movement
Fuel sites: Hamper enemy logistics, valid targets
Hospitals/ambulances: Require red cross symbol to be non-valid targets(I assume that they had this in this case though mistakes are made in war)
Aid Convoys: This ones a grey area, hitting supplies is generally a valid target however.

I may be wrong but you seem to be trying to say that the scale of Israels attack was a war crime in and of itself which is false. Launching a major all out attack in war is not a war crime regardless of the reasons of the war. Simply disagreeing that the war should have been fought does not mean one side is committing war crimes on the other.

@mafuletrekkie Hezbollah however has admitted, even bragged about, committing war crimes. One of the most famous examples was the capture of Adi Avitan, Staff Sgt. Benyamin Avraham, and Staff Sgt. Omar Sawaidwere. This is not the war crime of course, the war crime was the execution of these uniformed soldiers after their capture which Hezbollah then took credit for. Also to say that Hezbollah has not targeted civilians shows a lack of understanding of the events of the 2006 Lebanon War.

I get it, Hezbollah was well organized and fired between 3 and 4 thousand rockets, but israel's retaliation was overly malicious. They bombed all the way to Lebanon's northern border, and seemed to have less regard for human lives than did their enemies. Hezbollah targeted military, the IDF targeted all of Lebanon. Sure, you can make the case here and there, but in general the civilian deaths people cite are collaterol. Often these are totally unneccesarily killed, or killed because Israeli commanders place 100 civilian deaths above the death of one IDF soldier in terms of importance.
And Israel definitely takes part in terrorism. Everyone does.
