  • is this in the normal alice tuning?

  • awesome tone and awesome playing. long live AiC

  • where you from?

  • I live in Okinawa. I play bass, rhythm, and lead guitar. I'd be down for some internet collaborations. I'm no crazy shred head when it comes to leads, but I can solo. I dunno anything about recording or mixing, but I would be glad to collaborate with you

  • Good job braddah.

  • you are in the right channel ; )

  • great cover bro. like a lot of people have said, you got Jerry's tone down perfectly. check out my cover, tell me if it's any good...

  • Ah shit I just realized that on my cover of this song I have on my channel I'm not supposed to palm mute those open D's for that first part of the first riff.

I got the solo on mine as well but no whammy bar like you so we gotta improv those whammy dives Cantrell does hehe stills sounds sick.

I think you can definitely get that end solo, it's not too bad, if you look at how I did it on my cover you can easily pull it off I'm sure.

  • @ReasonableRam Haha I can play it, I just chose not to here :)

  • @evilotto77cheese

I figured you would be able to. You tear up the rest of the song with ease :-p

I'm glad people like you and me are keeping the spirit of Heavy Metal alive!

  • fuck ya bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Very cool....you make me want to buy an electric guitar just to learn this song!

  • they tune a 1/2 step down and drop d

  • great cover dude! keep it up!

  • i think that Cantrell lowered the whole guitar tuning by one half step thus it sounded more grungy, but that's just my ear talking, can't be sure right now.that is why i asked about your tuning dude.thanks anyhow....

  • Les 2 qui n'aiment pas cette vidéo sont des putains de jaloux!

    Super boulot mec!

  • nice one !

  • Awesome sounding guitar! I love the rhytm guitar.

  • whats the whole setup?

  • Kudos. I like your style. got the sound down too.

  • could you teach the main riff

  • @camobelt4 Yeah, it's a pretty simple riff really

  • @evilotto77cheese will you make a vid...please lol

  • @evilotto77cheese whoa, awesome sound dude, truly! just wondering is it standard tuning or drop-d?

  • @Mech4troN It's definitely drop something

  • @evilotto77cheese wow, what a clever comeback...i was kinda hoping for some info but never mind.keep up the good fight.peace.

  • @evilotto77cheese drop c#

  • @Mech4troN E flat (half step below normal) is the standard Alice In Chains tuning. Then you drop the 6th string 1 step and there you have it!

  • the tuning is c sharp?

  • we have the same amp :P

  • Does the headstock say Vagina?

  • i like it.

    very good!

  • sounds great. good job

  • Great job, man. =D

  • you're a very smooth player. i watched your other vids, what kinda les copy are you playing?

  • @Octalux It's a Vintage V100 Lemon Drop :)

  • i love the passion and energy you got while your playing, man its awesomee

  • that vintage sounds nice

    what amp u using?

  • Absolutely boss cover. You should buy a guitar that has a Floyd Rose so you can nail that solo too =D

  • nice fucking tone man !!

  • good job but weres the solo

  • SWEET

  • drop c#

  • No solo D-:

  • If you need a band I want to start one you would be cool to jam with.

  • Great guitar, Great cover, Great sound.

  • Dude spot on! Great job. Love AIC and this song. Well done, love the sound that guitar is making. Awesome stuff keep up the good work. Hope to see more covers in the future.

  • Drop C#

  • Take the average of the two.

  • Dude, that was perfect!!!!!!

    5/5

  • Once again, blown away.

  • wooooo hooo !

    im impressed :P

  • excellent, good tone, video quality and your in tune lol.

I do the same thing while working on some stuff. On left channel, if you have an graphic eq take the Highs, turn volume down abit.

With this method you remove all the guitars, you just hear the bass drume and voice. A poor mans Boss Guitar Trainer.

Sweet Les Paul could that from the states.

  • NIce playing :D

  • The next James Hetfield. Wearing the guitar low, wrist bands. AWESOME KEEP IT UP. Awesome playing, SKILLS SKILLS SKILLS

  • youre awesome. i thought you play lead though?

  • Well in a band I wouldn't mind doing either

  • awsome man purely awsome you have such good tone and playing rocks brah

  • dude sick cover and sweet guitar

  • I need a rythm guitar!!! can you come to spain hahaha

yo play very well, don't worry you will find a band^^

  • good cover man but i think your good enough for lead

  • @lizardking1993 It's not really a matter of being good enough to play lead. What you're pretty much saying is every rhythm player is that because they can't do lead.

  • @lizardking1993 people don't play rhythm cause they're not good enough to play lead

i know alot of people who can play lead but cant play any rhythm worth a shit

  • good job friend! 5*... BUt You must do the solo too! :D

  • that was stupidly good :o and a great song you only made better

  • Thanks dude!
