Thank you for the kind wishes handcuffmaiden. I hope 2009 is a good year for you too. I feel good except that it seems I have to accept that I will have hic-cups for four days each time I have chemo. I can live with them better now I know they do eventually disappear. Christmas Day was quiet but I spent good quality time with my parents which we all enjoyed. Cancer seems to be all around with the deaths of Harold Pinter and Eartha Kitt but I stay positive.
Thanks for sharing your stories. I have bipolar and have really felt a mental connection with your stories because we have very similar themes in our past experiences. I am very sorry to hear that you have cancer but I want to encourage you because a lot of good can come from this. I will pray to Jesus for you and I will pray that His love surrounds you.
Jamies I feel good at the moment. I was in hospital yesterday for intravenous chemo and the man next to me had just been given the alll-clear which gave me hope.
Boy I feel so close to your stories! I have a father with bipolar and a relative who has liver and bowl cancer.
If you can just take away one positive thing away from me, and that is that your personal blogs have really touched me, and have been quite cathartic for me, even though it's your actual story.
I would love to of asked you a few questions, but I will leave that for the time being.
It is good to hear that the videos I've made on here have helped someone in some way. Not everyone is willing to talk about mental illness for obvious reasons but I decided that for me it was a risk worth taking.
My heart is broken for you Tony. You will beat this cancer, stay as positive as you can and you will get through this. You will be in my prayers. Good luck my friend.
