Masks with cardboard cutout. :p

Think of something like a flashback effect, but seeing as it takes the WHOLE screen which I didn't want, I did a cardboard cutout of myself (or if I had a blue/green-screen I'd use that) and filled the background with pink, applied the effect as a seperate clip, put it into the blank livingroom as an overlay, and deleted the one frame where the flash encompases the whole pink background.

sound effects at 16, 17, 19 are from starcraft lol and 22 is just the wrong picture coz it gives the image of the user exploding^^ nevetheless this is something i CAN'T do so i'mma say its nice^^

Actually, as of 15 to 19 were starcraft sounds. And yeah, 22. Had some other idea in mind where the particles would scatter and run away or something silly like that. Problem is that I don't have the tools for that. :S

What was the effect you used in 14 and 15.

Tracing around myself: I take 1 picture of myself standing, take it to a picture editor (MSPaint, Paint Shop, Photo Shop, etc) and take away the background, using a color of choosing. I chose pink because I was sure there wasn't any pink in the picture (at least before effects).

14 and 15 pretty much was MaskB with different fade values and Middle Flash enabled on the "traced out image".

I assume you used chroma key,but you cannot apply transitions to the overlay, so you couldn't have applied the effect to the "traced out image" as you say.I have tried out many variations but the effect comes throuh the overlay.

Ah, yes... That little detail. I took the images onto a seperate project where I placed the image and a simple color (full pink) onto the main track, applied the effect, and saved it onto another video file, which was then overlayed onto the background clip.

For poof effects you need some kind of Video Tool/Studio/Editor. What I recommend? No idea. Where to find? Google.

What I did was that I took 1 frame from my clip, and I traced around myself with Pink. Then I put this in a seperate VSProject and applied the effects there, saved, and put as an overlay ontop of the empty living room reel. Effects include MaskB and 3D.

Lets see if I can list them. 1: MaskB - fade level 10 2: A quick MaskB with an overlay of custom graphics. 3: MaskA using 6th pic. 4: Flashback - fade=10, HaloBrt=1, HaloSize=10, cont=1 5: Flashback - fade=10, HaloBrt=1, HaloSize=10, cont=10, inverse 6: Simple side wipe, up, border and full blur 7: Flow wipe, full blur 8: Mesh wipe 9: MaskA - 2nd last pic 10: MaskA - 18th pic 11: darn... missing some components so I can't see what I did. Oh well, lets skip to your question about 15-28.

is it possible to teleport to another location on the screen? i imagine it takes more time to make... and do you have to be still while the effect is taking place?

I could, it's just that I was trying the effects on one reel piece. Just stand there, tap the watch, hold for a second or so, tap again and walk off, and leave the camera rolling for a few seconds.

And yeah, to make it look real you have to film yourself holding still for a second or 2 while you add the effect or transition. Otherwise you can just make yourself a cardboard cutout and fade it away.

I see 3 possibilities. Meditate and ascend, build a boot-strap teleporter into a backpack, or make a duplicate android of myself and jump about. :p

Actually, no. I just used Transision effects. Actually, where you see a little pink outline I took one picture from the movie, then traced myself out with pink in MSPaint, applied Transision effects to that one picture, then overlayed it into the film. :D
