I love it how there's bits of other song in it. At around 2:43 the Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band horns come in, and right after it the In My Life piano solo comes in and after THAT, there is the Penny Lane horns, then there's a bit of Piggies, and then there's the 'Hello, hey-hey-lo' from Hello, Goodbye, AND I might be mistaken but in the very last few minutes it sounds like Sgt Pepper's Reprise...? All that by ear :)
Does anyone know where to find the opening demo used in this song? I recognize the Anthology take that comes in around 0:30, but John's opening vocals are just incredible. Would love to get a hold of that demo, please help!
@TheJohndaker there's a torrent on the pirate bay named 'The Beatles - It's Not Too Bad (Strawberry Fields Forever Compl' which contain lots of stuff about strawberry field... maybe in there. good luck
I love the Magical Tour Version because of Ringo's drumming, but I used to hate how they slowed down Lennon's voice (Probably because he didn't like his voice). But in this version, there is less Ringo, which is ok because Lennon's voice is perfect here, George Martin used to bless him for Strawberry fields forever. Martin was started to cry when he said that John told him that if it was possible, he would recorded every songs he'd done, again, ESPECIALLY strawberry fields...
this version is build from a demo, found in Anthology series, orchestral from Sgt. Pepper's... In My Life solo, brass from Penny Lane, cello and harpsichord from Piggies and coda from Hello Goodbye
This just simply transports me to a landscape of being audiophonically intoxicated. Such a masterpiece of music composition that the arrangements in this piece in 2:42 demonstrates a psychedelic transition that is unmatched by today's standards. Truly brilliant!!!

@Drunksonic I totally agree. The music today is shit compared to the music during to 50's, 60's, and 70's. From there on, good music went down hill as the shitty music rized in a horrible stance.
