i'm learnin this song for something in june called NYSSMA. basically i go and get judged on my singing. and i'm just learning it. but i KNOW my voice won't ring like that. great job :)

@kickindancer34 What level is this song in NYSSMA? What score did you get? All state?

Hope you did! NYSSMA can be stressful but in the end it is always a lot of fun. Hope you did well!

@xbr0kenb0ttle this is a level 6 in NYSSMA and i got a 98 :) and i dont know if i got into all state so im thinkin i didnt get in :/ but yes NYSSMA is stressful but i had a blast and i loved this song!

1. Tempo at start was not properly pace.

2. Singing without expression, lack of sincerity except showmanship.

3. High notes are not always beautiful, some "flattened sound'.

4. Do you understand the emaning of "lauda,laude"? Facial expression was not convincing.

Thank you for the constructive criticism.

As I said in the side bar this was not yet perfected I was still learning it at the time and was a bit nervous because of that.

You were right at the time of singing this I did not know what Lauda Laude meant though I do now.

Alright, let's hear you do it better then, I think she did wonderfully. And who cares of how you look when your singing when you have a voice like that? Look up Cecilia Bartoli singing, and then tell me that good singers care about what they look like while their singing.

Oh, you did a wonderful job by the way :) this is one of my favorite songs

The one in the other video is Anya Lundburg her late husband Mark Lundburg used to sing for the Met. My teacher at school is Daniel Hughes...I don't know if you will find anything on him.

Yes I have had two through my life. My first is the woman that I sing with in my Cosi Fan Tutti video and the one I have now is my private teacher at school. They are both fantastic.

Who is she...would I know her by name?

Overall, not too shabby. Just a few small things for thought though... be careful with your vowel placement (spread a little wide at times) and intonation is a little out there every once in a while. With the latin, be conscious to make the d's less accented/english sounding. Otherwise I think you did a great job! Keep up the good work!
